Dear Minister Marin Horvat,

I would like to congratulate you on your rise to become the new Minister of Foreign Affairs under the new government of Prime Minister Jozefina Lovrić, please pass on my congratulations to the Prime Minister upon your next meeting. Historical ties date back to the introduction of the Spanish language to Bosnia by Spanish-speaking Jews fleeing Spain after the enactment of the Alhambra Decree in 1492 but formal ties between our two countries first formalised in 1991. Under Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's objectives to further our relations with fellow European nations, we would like to meet with a member from the government in Sarajevo to discuss formal relations including the aims and objectives of your government across your tenure in power.

Regards,
Adriana Lastra
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation
Kingdom of Spain

We can host you at your earliest convenience.

Adriana Lastra received confirmation from the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs and packed up her belongings for a visit to the capital city of Sarajevo. She boarded a commercial flight to the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina accompanied by her close detail of office staff and five armed security personnel from the Civil Guard who were each equipped with a loaded Beretta 92 which was standard issue for their role in protecting the Minister of Foreign Affairs on her trip abroad. The Bosnian Government were informed that the Minister of Foreign Affairs was on her way to Sarajevo to meet with Prime Minister Lovrić to discuss international cooperation and bilateral trade.

At Sarajevo airport, a 4 car convoy of unmarked police cars would be waiting at the airport for the minister's arrival. The lead and rear vehicles each have 4 officers heavily armed with Assault Rifles and tactical equipment. The Front Middle vehicle features two suited police officers in the front seats with handguns. The second middle vehicle is a minibus for the minister's traveling entourage. They await with the vehicles at the plane's parking spot.
