STATEMENT BY THE PRIME MINSTER OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
CONDEMNING THE ACTIONS OF THE SINGULAR STATE OF GREATER ROMANIA
JUNE , 1997

The Kingdom of Spain, views the current engagements between Moldova and Romania, as unsurprising but worrying, as for the past few days Romania has denigrated and insulted the culture, values, ideals and society of Moldova, a proud nation full of history. We condemn, this aggravated assault on the sovereign nation of Moldova, and the Government of the Singular State of Greater Romania for its actions against them. Nothing justifies an all out assault, to conquer and subjugate other peacefull nations. Those days should be behind us, and remain only in History. We call on the Singular State of Greater Romania to desist form incursions into the sovereign territory of Moldova, and to stop all hostilities towards them.​

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
CANCELLING TRADE RELATIONS WITH THE SINGULAR STATE OF GREATER ROMANIA
JULY , 1997

The Republic of Spain, after no attempt of the Singular State of Greater Romania to desist form incursions into the sovereign territory of Moldova, and the opening of formal hostilities between both nations hereby condemns the formal declaration of war from the Singular State of Greater Romania to the Republic of Moldova, and will fully support Moldova against its enemy within the democratic institutions available to us. We shall henceforth, cancel all trade routes between the Republic of Spain and the Singular State of Greater Romania. Furthermore, it will begin to apply economic sanctions on the Singular State of Greater Romania shortly after this statement, until it terminates its hostilities with the Republic of Moldova.

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
EVENT OFFERING GROUND FOR A PEACEFULL RESOLUTION BETWEEN ROMANIA AND MOLDOVA
JULY , 1997

The Republic of Spain, invites both the Government of Moldova, and the Government of Romania, to come to Madrid, to discuss a possible peaceful resolution of the on going conflict between both nations, while Spain would offer it self to be the mediator and host between both nations, as to avoid either Romania or Moldova being used for these talks. It is critical that both nation agree on a cease fire, before, after and while peace talks occur. We are sure that both nations wish for a peaceful conclusion of this conflcit, as so does Europe, and the world at large.​

The office of the President of the Republic issued a Executive Order, to create a new temporary Agency, under the Department of the Interior, named the Public Works Agency, this agency will oversea the National Industrial Plan, to encourage national industrial recovery, to foster fair competition, and to provide for the construction of certain useful public works and for other purposes. For this we will also work with congress to establish new laws that will formally give this agency enough legal jurisdiction to carry its duties to fulfilment.

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
1997, DECEMBER

The President, after all emergency calls have been taken and completed, would schedule a time where he was going to address the nation, and by extension the global community, as such the various News Stations would tune to the President statement, where millions of Spaniards would watch.​

"My fellow Spaniards, we live in troubled times, where our might, unity and values will be tested like they have never been tested before. While we are sure of our values and ideals, which have been cemented since that historic day, when all Spaniards came together to unite the nation under the rule of democracy and freedom.​

On the past few days, we have seen a economic crisis which hasn't been seen since the Great Depression, in which this administration is doing everything it can, to lessen the blow to the people of Spain and by extension the world. We are working with our partners and allies on the front, reaching and applying equal economic measures to our nations. Now, the Russian Debt crisis is putting more strain into the global economy, by virtue of overspending and irresponsible fiscal measures which as sent Russia into a debt spiral, however they are not alone, they have the Global Assembly and its members, which are working closely together to stop this crisis, in every way it can, which I pay special gratitude to the South Korean Government. As we all know, the world is interconnected, and what affects other nations, will always affect ours, whether we want it, or not. ​

Then, if the world wasn't going through so much already, communist riots have broken out in Russia, violent riots, and again..very dangerous ideas have returned to our world, which have starved, captured, and genocided millions in the not so very distant pass. And my friend, the Secretary of State is now barricaded alongside various others leaders and diplomats inside a Hotel they were staying, for a international conference at the invitation of Russia, which we are doing everything in our power to save him. A few moments ago, President Yushchenko of our friend nation of Ukraine as been shot after giving a speech to his people to reassure them, to whom I send my wishes of luck and that he will persevere. And now another violent event as taken place in India, again with the same idea as the ones in Russia.​

This is not the time to deposit blame on to each other for the doings of others, not the time to engage in political disputes and geopolitical machinations. The world must stand united against this new threat and the challenge before us, we must never allow such ideas to rise from violence or bloodshed, they must rise from peace and from common goals and from the worlds democratic institutions, for the betterment of all and not the betterment of few. We must help and aid each other, regardless of culture, so that we can all pull to the same side. A side of peace, a side of prosperity and a side of mutual understanding. I know that we can count on our friends and allies, and the nations and people of the world to share the same sentiment and love for peace.​

I have hope and surety that, these dark times will pass swiftly as they arrived, due to our commitment to make the world a better place, and to our unity around our humanity.​

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
PUBLIC WORKS II

The Public Works initiate is now in full force, after being created at the end of last year. Up to this point the Agency as been working tirelessly with planning and prepare the next step. From this point forward, the agency will work towards modernizing the current infrastructure in Spain, this includes modernizing and building new hospitals and health centers,universities and schools, reworking our roads and rails for better accessibility, and more. This plan is called SPAIN21st plan, which is the namesake of this endeavor to guide Spain's standards of the next century.
For now and from this month to December of this year, the agency will focus on bringing our health care system up to date by modernizing our hospitals, health centers, laboratories and the technology associated with them. Alongside preparing and reworking the road infrastructure around them for ease of access of the local population. This investment will ensure that we are ready to face the challenges of the turn of the century.​

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPAIN RAFAEL CORTÉS
RUSSIAN SITUATION
DECEMBER , 1998

The Spanish Republic is deeply concerned with the situation unfolding within Russia, in a mere two years we have seen two Russian Crisis, its people are tired of such instability. We vehemently condemn any attempt by any faction formed within Russia to destroy and overthrow the democratic institutions in Russia. As such we are forced to support the side which was democratically elected by the Russian people, the Russian Federation. Furthermore, we ask that the Monarchist Faction seek to promote their ideals through the democratic institution available in Russia, the same way the Spanish Republic did some years ago. Not through violence or coups, but through dialogue and mutual understanding.

Every other factions being created from the chaos, seek only to breed more chaos and destabilize even further an already unstable nation, to which the Spanish Republic strongly condemns and will not support in anyway shape or form, and will use every diplomatic tool for them to cease to exist, such as sanctions.

To the international community the Spanish Republic asks for calm and composure, avoid any escalation with the factions involved, and refrain from using military means to quell this fire. Russia needs a helping hand, not a rifle pointed at its head. We the international community must come together to help once more our fellow men with advice and guidance, not with Tanks and Bombs.
