A young (for his rank, 30 y/o), sharp-looking Major of the Serbian Military would walk up to the podium which had been prepared by Serbia's state media, which would also be sending the broadcast to other press agencies around the world. He was wearing full combat gear, including a plate carrier with plates inside, a bulletproof helmet, and enough gear and ammunition to murder a building's worth of generals. He'd clear his throat before adjusting the mike and beginning his speech.
"As of Zero Hundred this morning, the Serbian Armed Forces have seized total control of the apparatuses of government. In response to their treason against Serbia, President Zarko Davidovic, Prime Minister Vlatko Ateljević, the ministers of Government, and the Military High Command, have all been tried and executed. All Institutions of the Serbian Government are currently, or will soon be, under the control of Military Commissars. Within the next few days, a council consisting of myself, 10 other Majors, 5 Lieutenant Colonels, and 1 Colonel, the officers behind this Coup, will establish a new constitution for this country, and appoint the newly created positions of Consul and Grand Marshal.
Furthermore, the military has decided that it is in the interests of the Serbian State that the following measures be undertaken: Belgrade is officially placed under Martial Law, and a Curfew is set for 2000 Local Time. Any civilians caught on the streets at those times, without good cause or authorization from Gendarmery officers, will be subject to detention. Anyone demonstrating in the streets, or rioting, will be subject to detention. Anyone partaking in suspicious activity will be subject to detention. Make no mistake, the Reckoning has come, and it will keep coming."
