A small but well organized welcoming ceremony would be held at the airport. A military band would play La Brabançonne in tune with the descent of the King of Belgium and the Foreign Minister. Ceremonial guards would flank a long red carpet, with the egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs would wait at the other end. He would politely welcome and greet the belgian authorities and invite them to board the motorcade prepared on the tarmac. They would drive directly to the to the governmental palace, where they had multiple meetings scheduled with egyptian authorities, including President Mando Safar.

Security would be strict at all times. At the egyptian presidential seat, President Safar would be informed of the upcoming arrival of the belgian delegation and would go out to the front gate of the big building and await for the King's vehicle to stop.

Upon their subsequent arrival, The King of The Belgians and The Foreign Minister would be flanked by the military band as the national anthem played in their honour. The way from the tarmac, saw the exchange of welcomes before entering the motorcade and heading off to the governmental palace.

The King's motorcade arrived at 12:37 pm at the palace with the two Belgians disembarking at the front gate where they encountered President Safar.

"President Safar, Allow me to introduce to you Albert II, King of The Belgians...." Reensma said taking a bow of respect.

"Your Majesty, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I hope you had a pelasent flight and your arrival to Egypt was according to your standards. Please, follow me to my office." The egyptian President would invite the King to follow him up the big white marble stairs to the first floor, where the rpesidential office was. "Can I offer you something to drink?" He would offer, gesturing to an aide while inviting the belgian king to take a seat on one of the comfortable armchairs in the private office.

Albert II smiled warmly, "I am grateful to have the privilege of meet you, Mr. President. My flight was most pleasing without disturbance. " Followed by Reensma and the security detail, The King would make his way to the office. upon entering the King mindful of Islamic customs would speak: "A cup of coffee would be most appreciated." He would then sit comfortable in one of the armchairs.

With the room cleared and in private, the President would continue.

"Glad to hear that. I'm happy to be able to finaly sit down with you and talk. We have many issues I want to discuss, specially this message we received from you, inviting to a meeting in Brussels to discuss a potential political alliance.

Egypt is currently neutral, and in this moment of regional crisis, prepared to enforce said neutrality. But we cannot be blind to the situation that provoked this crisis. Nations are gathering into coallitions, that will mostly perdure after this event is over and they will also gain more cohesion for their struggles to achieve and impose their own agendas. It would be unwise to give them the advantage of collective defense without us even thinking of finding our own alternatives.

Egypt has solid bilateral relations with many nations around the world, some of which might be interested in your proposal, like Israel and Brazil. Two natiosn that field very strong military forces and are active on an international level. Of course, we would have to see what the reach and objectives of this potential organization would be, before we present the idea to other nations.

On your side, which countries do you consider potential targets? In terms of similarity in our political agendas.

Once the President finished Speaking the King of The Belgians would reply:

"as am I of you, this is the second visit I've conduct under the auspices of Foreign minister Reensma's Ministry of Foreign Affairs since we flew to the Netherlands back in early March.

With regards to the message sent, we understand and respect the neutrality of Egypt and the strategic importance of a global third way between the west and the east especially with all this built up tension on the table boiling over in Iraq.

I might note that my country is open to the presence of Israel and Brazil as members of a council of non aligned states seeking to secure their sovereignty and independence should things manage to materialize in the near future.

Currently, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reason to consider the membership of Yugoslavia and Turkey on the grounds that these nations have historically contributed to the establishment of prior organisations whose aim was to counterbalance the authority of both Washington and the Kremlin."

"On a first glance we could agree on Yugoslavia and Turkey being part of this potential porject. However, I am rather concerned about their recent lack of a solid and active international presence.

What would in your opinion the goals and objectives of this Coalition be? Are we talking about political coordination? Trade? Defense?

"Indeed it is rather discerning, their apathy towards the world stage and this era of interdependence. I think that in time they'll come round on their own volition.

The goal of this organisation of non aligned states is to provide an alternative environment for nations wishing to forge their own path and realize their own potential without getting caught up in competing power blocs as pawns and proxies for hire. Essentially what this boils down to is entity of political cordination and righteous self defense against all forms of aggression."

"So, this alliance would include a Mutual Defense Pact that would trigger in the case of one the nations is victim to a unprovokec act of aggresion? Would there be a permanent secretariat where all members would sent their representatives, with a Secretary to head it, or are you thinking of something more de-centralized?

How about finances? Will this organization have a treasury with contributions to be used for development projects, for example?

"In a word yes, my government is more than willing to come to the aid of its Egyptian allies. As for structure, there would be a secretariat comprised of four members per country alongside a panel for observer states. With respect to finance, the movement will have a collective treasury which shall be used for poverty relief, charity, and education. "

"How about political support? For example, Egypt has grave concerns regarding the instability in Sudan and the threat to national security it represents. If we were to launch operations there to supress said menaces, would such an organization serve to rally support for events like this, not only in Egypt?"

"Political Support is a crucial component for an organisation of this nature, however such support needn't be without pragmatic considerations. In the event of such a crisis, Belgium would be more than happy to deploy observers while working in concert with the Global Assembly to reach a mutually beneficial resolution to ongoing tensions. Let every member be flexible in their approach."

"Ok... Having heard this, i think Egypt could eventually commit to preliminary negotiations to establish such an organization. If the meeting in Brussels is still on, we will be attending. Do you have any other nations participating?"

"I am pleased to hear this, when Egypt is ready to begin the process we'll be waiting. In so far as I am aware, the meetings have been scheduled for October with the possibility of other nations joining not long after."
