The aforementioned Resolution for Strategic Ordnance Prohibition approved by the Global Assembly, signed in The Hague in January 1995, and ratified by the Riksdag on January 1995, is hereby promulgated and shall enter into force as domestic law in accordance with its provisions. The Secretary for Foreign Affairs shall ensure the implementation of the resolutions provisions within the framework of existing legal and administrative structures.

The aforementioned Scandinavian Antarctic Treaty between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Kingdom of Norway, signed in Oslo in January 1995, and ratified by the Riksdag on January 1995, is hereby promulgated and shall enter into force as domestic law in accordance with its provisions. The Secretary for Foreign Affairs shall ensure the implementation of the treaty’s provisions within the framework of existing legal and administrative structures.

The aforementioned Swedish Document Classification and Security Act 1995 adopted by Riksdag in January 1995, is hereby promulgated and shall enter into force as domestic law in accordance with its provisions. This act established a legal framework for the classification and security of official documentation and communications, reinforcing our national security standards. The Secretary for Home Affairs shall ensure the implementation of the treaty’s provisions within the framework of existing legal and administrative structures.

The aforementioned Resolution on Antarctica approved by the Global Assembly, signed in The Hague in September 1997, and ratified by the Riksdag in September 1997, is hereby promulgated and shall enter into force as domestic law in accordance with its provisions. The Secretary of Antarctic Affairs shall ensure the implementation of the resolutions provisions within the framework of existing legal and administrative structures.

This legislation supercedes the Scandinavian Antarctic Treaty which is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall no longer have legal force within the Kingdom of Sweden.
