Dear sir,

I would like to thank you for your message. It is delightful to see that Taiwan has seen fit to honour Turkey with its time and effort. In response to your query regarding whether you can engage in diplomatic relations with Turkey, we are more than happy to lay down the foundations for such a thing. It is definitely helpful that Taiwan decided to rescind their claims against Mainland China, since the historical stance of The People's Republic would have made official relations problematic.

As for when it is convenient for you to contact me, I am more than happy to hop on a flight to Taiwan tomorrow, once I've had an ambassador selected to be our representative in Taipei, and selected an appropriate location for our embassy. It would be best, in my opinion, for you to meet the individual you will be utilising as your first port of contact with Turkey in person before we finalise any arrangements regarding the establishment of diplomatic missions.

Yours faithfully,
Kanat Ozbek, Vizier For Foreign Affairs

Dear sir,

It would be most helpful if we were to meet your reciprocal ambassador while we are in Taipei. This should allow us the opportunity to speak to him and, if we deem him suitable, provide him with the necessary immigration paperwork to allow him free entry to Turkey. As for the location of your reciprocal embassy, we would be most grateful if you were to pick an address in Istanbul. It is my government's intention to move the capital of Turkey back there in the near future.

Finally, I, and the ambassador Turkey has selected, will be arriving on a commercial flight this afternoon. We wish to make No. 9號, Ximen Street, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan 220 the site for our embassy. Is this particular address okay with you? If yes, then we would like to purchase the building, and land. I am authorised to pay for it on the behalf of the Turkish government, all that is required on your part is the provision of a price you believe is satisfactory.

Best wishes,
Kanat Ozbek, Vizier For Foreign Affairs

Dear sir,

The address you have supplied is perfectly acceptable. I, and our chosen ambassador, will be heading to Taiwan tomorrow. We assume that we should head to The Foreign Ministry, so that we can meet you with minimum disruption to the general routine.

If you have other arrangements for meeting with us, we are more than willing to abide by them.

Best wishes,
Kanat Ozbek, Vizier For Foreign Affairs

As stated, Vizier Ozbek hopped on the next flight to Taiwan, accompanied by a gentleman with long, flowing ginger hair, dressed in a champagne cravat and waistcoat, white shirt with wing-tipped collar and a long dark frock coat and trousers.

Once they had arrived, they caught a taxi to The Foreign Ministry, where they presented their credentials and informed security of the fact they had been invited for a meeting.
