Dear Secretary Adams,

On behalf of the government of Tanzania, I am contacting yourself to open an official line of communication between our administrations.

Being a member of the British Commonwealth of Nations, alongside a mutually shared historical relationship, our states' political relations already possess deep roots. We would like to take this opportunity to explore methods to further progress this historical relationship, particularly in the fields of trade and economic cooperation.
We would also like to discuss the possibility of reaching a beneficial visa agreement, with the intention of boosting business and tourism, alongside encouraging partnerships between institutions of higher-education.

I hope this is something your government is open to negotiating. I will eagerly await your reply.

Happy to receive the email, Lawrence Adams would open an encrypted phone call with Jakaya Kikwete in the hopes of discussing the email sent to build a relationship between Tanzania and the United Kingdom. Mr Adams waited patiently, hoping that the Tanzanian Foreign Minister was available for the call. In the event that they were unavailable, he would be sure to email to request a suitable time for a call to make sure the opportunity is not missed.

Having just finished sending off emails to his Indian counterpart, Minister Kikwete's phone would being to ring. He looked down to see the number, instantly recognising it. He would pick up and answer the encrypted line in his joyful tone.

"Hello Mr Secretary, it's a pleasure to receive your call. How are you on this fine day?"

"It's a pleasure to speak with you, Minister Kikwete" responded Lawrence, replying "I am doing rather well, thank you for asking. How are you today?" The Foreign Secretary fell silent, waiting for his Tanzanian Counterpart to respond before the pair could begin professional discussions regarding the relationship between the United Kingdom and Tanzania.
