Dear Ambassadors,

I am the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Surakiart Sathirathai. I am opening this communication under the NIA network to the country that Thailand considers as friendly. We have decided to share the information about the hostilities between Thailand and Laos, our neighboring country. We have recently found that the law enforcement authority of Laos has violated the human rights of our citizens on the 3rd of May and have detained five of our citizens at their police station for ten days. The Lao SWAT has also bombed the private vehicle, their property, with dynamite on the same day. So, we undertook the investigation. The victim established that the plainclothes police officer had tried to force him to tell that he was involved with the terrorist attack in the interrogation room. The officer questioned him, and the victim had answered with anxiety because he had lost his vehicle and got arrested. It made the officer furious. The officer brought out the metal baton, hitting the table to make a loud noise before smashing it at the victim's thigh. He was lucky that he had martial art training in the past and successfully took down the officer, but the SWAT quickly shot 20 rounds of rubber bullets at the victim in the close distance. They eventually got released after ten days. The people in Thailand bring this matter into the public debate throughout the country, saying that the government has to take action to protect its citizen. The Member of Parliament has brought this controversy into the parliament session to find a solution, and it has spiked another debate. We have concluded on the confrontational in the consensus. The Parliament has voted on the agreement on the declaration of war against the government of Laos. It will become effective immediately after its publication. The document has specified that this war will overthrow and retake the government of Laos into Thailand. We will commence the offensive soon, and we suggest you inform your citizens in both Thailand and Laos to be aware of the situation. We can ensure that the armed forces will try to target only the military, and we will wage war with the principle that those who are not involved should not be enemies.

Best Regard

We thank you for your quick reporting to us of this event before making any drastic decisions. Do note that we fully support your motion for war. The truly egregious methods used by those so-called officers of the peace are disgusting to me and my colleagues. In fact, in this pursuit, we would once again like to come to the aid of the will of the Thai people. I have recently come into control of a number of special forces units and would like to send about one hundred of them to your nation with their equipment to help bring a quick and efficient end to the conflict.

Best Regards,
Muhammed Onwudiwe, Chief of the Army, Designated Regent

Dear Chief Muhammed,

Thailand valued your effort to participate in the conflict to support our citizens, and we appreciate your support for us during wartime. I have forwarded your intention to send a hundred special forces to engage in the war effort to the Royal Thai Armed Forces headquarters and the Office of the Prime Minister, and they have sent back the response. Thailand is willing to open for Congolese troops to arrive in Thailand. Congo may commence the transportation from their base to Thailand. They can land in Phang Nga naval base, where a Pattani class Offshore Patrol Vessel will escort the Congolese ship. If Congo wishes to transport the special force by air, we can provide Don Meuang airport where the paratrooper will welcome them. We can provide your troop with the transportation and logistic service inside our country. The command support of each military region will give your soldiers supplies and munition, and they will continue to supply based on your mission location. We can as well quickly launch your special force into the warzone through military transport aircraft if you prefer.

Dear Surakiart Sathirathai,

I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear the news in these troubled times. I have spoken with fellow colleagues of mine and with Government officials, and I can assure you that while the current administration does not approve of this war, Mexico will back Thailand in its endeavors to promote its national interest and security. My government has requested that I ask to send over military observers and advisors as well as war correspondence to document this war. All personnel would remain as non-combatants. We will also be closing down our Embassy in Laos and will be moving it to Australia for the duration of this war. Mexican citizens in Laos are being asked to leave the country immediately and if they are unable to leave, they are being asked to shelter in place. Normal day to day activities will remain the same in Thailand for Mexican citizens, unless things change in the pace of this war. I thank you for your time.

Best Regards,
Gerado Vega,

Secretary of Defense

Dear Gerado Clemente Vega,

We profoundly appreciate your government's support of our national interest and security. The war news is sure to be what we also don't want to hear anytime. The administration and the military of Thailand can uncompromisingly ensure that we won't target civilians. It's already three days into the state of war, and there hasn't been a single report yet. I have spent my time with the military affairs of our Armed Forces regarding your government's request to send the military attaché to Thailand to observe and advise the conflict between us and Laos. I am thrilled to say that you are allowed to do so, and we will forward some information regarding the war to your side. We are waiting for a new report that the Armed Forces is gathering, which we believe will arrive at us soon. We hope the Armed Force will share that with you.

Dear Surakiart Sathirathai,

The content of your correspondence was distressing to read and I can imagine the graphic devastation that ensued in Thai soil. Whilst I understand that the decision to go to war is never an easy one to make and I trust your democratically elected government and representatives to make the appropriate decision to ensure the safety and security of your people and your nation. Objectivity prior to an offensive is absolutely key.

The service men and women that serve beneath your crown will put themselves in harms way to ensure that your orders are met to the letter of the word; but let us not forget that they too have mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and even children of their own sat at home eagerly awaiting their return. Some of which, undoubtedly will not. It is with them that I hold the deepest prayers and wish them the strength necessary to continue their duty in the face of aggression.

For your government you can be sure that any attack against friends, allies and partners of the Kingdom of Sweden will be met with the support of His Majesty's government. Similar to your abstention following a similar threat we received against South Africa last year, you will also receive no public opposition to your action against Laos. Albeit according to law.

I must inform you that this conflict serves as a very real credible threat to Swedish tourists and as such the Bureau for Asian Affairs will have no choice bet to issue an alteration to the International Travel Advisory to reflect this. I trust that once this threat has subsided that we will be able to reopen our normal thriving tourism once again.

Please ensure the timely security of you, your family and the Thai government as you will become targets in this conflict.

Regards,
Jon Åström Gröndahl

Dear Jon Åström Gröndahl,

Thailand appreciates your understanding of our struggle during this time when the tribulation occurs. We have a reason to go to war against Laos, our last resort. The Armed Forces and the government are trying their best to enjoin the soldier not to cause civilian casualties and damage their property without necessary. Although Thailand equipped itself with one of the most effective fire support, we have decided not to use it against the residential area. We are trying to gather resources to contact the Lao government, but we haven't received a single answer from them. The war with Laos is not to our advantage, and we expect that winning within two months is the maximum length. I will keep you updated when it is needed. Thailand, thank you again for Sweden's support.
