Ablaze
It was a calm night in Kinshasa, the Congolese capital. Thai Ambassador to Congo Sopa Pimolkittikool has just gone home following a hectic day at the embassy, as the Swedish Prime Minister's supposed tweet has alarmed many Thai citizens. She was fatigued but had to stay strong since she bore a load of duty here. It's nearly midnight, and Sopa should be resting for tomorrow. She opened the slightly ajar door to her bedroom, and her once-adorable cat, now an adult, greeted her enthusiastically. She recovered much of her happiness and vitality and thanked the small but brave creature who had been by her side since the day she arrived in Congo. After playing with her cat, she slept around a quarter past midnight.
Many loud sounds occur in the middle of the night, causing Sopa and her cat to awaken from their comfy slumber. She is on high alert because she can hear muffled noises coming through her windows. She gets up and heads toward the noises at her bedroom window after attempting to calm herself down. When she glances outside, she is astounded as her cat appears perplexed. Kinshasa's few buildings are bathed in orange light, with something flying about casting light from above. She hastily opens the window, and the sound of helicopter fire calibers blazing into her room, frightening her cat further. She speaks to herself, startled. "I must be dreaming. What in the world is going on?" She imagines as many situations as she can to comprehend the predicament. She uses her knowledge of the Empire to stitch together several scenes with some thought. Before concluding, she notices that her telephone is buzzing as her mind begins to return to its body. She closes the windows to quieten the noise and answers the phone after a few steps. Somehow, she doesn't grasp what the other side is saying. It is at this point that she understands she is using a secure phone given by the NIA. She instantly places her finger on the fingerprint area. She can now understand what is being said to her.
"Sopa, I thought you were insane with what was going on. Listen, we're looking at the origins of the war or a battle in Kinshasa. Do you recall the Special Police Unit I mentioned a while ago? They have been spearheading the war against gangs in Congo as the police are unable to cope with them. We have no confirmation of what is going on, but from what we have gathered thus far. We believe it is related to the internal war within this country or, to use another term, the Empire. The NIA lacks jurisdiction to interfere in this matter since doing so would be a violation of the Amity Treaty you signed a year ago. Also, we have discovered that Muhammed Onwudiwe, head of the Congolese Army, has served as designated regent for some time. It's something we'd want to learn more about it. We have sent six security staff from the embassy to your house. They should be making you feel secure. It's up to you to sleep or watch the whole tower burns down. We will have work for you in the morning. Good night."

Thailand's Republic of Government has been closely monitoring the troubling situation in Congo, particularly in Kinshasa. We have received news and reports from our intelligence bureau at the Thai Embassy. Their responsibilities are in the best interests of Thailand and our people. An obligation to the Treaty of Amity between Thailand and Congo signed on January 7, 2000: Congo and Thailand shall provide a stable platform for collaborative action. Congo shares a primary responsibility for regional stability and peaceful and progressive national development. The current situation in Congo is upheaval, and the security of our citizens and diplomatic staff is on the line. To prevent further harm to the Thai people, we have issued a temporary travel ban on Congo until the situation will improve. Thailand will continue to monitor the situation in Congo to ensure the interest of our country and its people. Thailand stands by Congo, our faithful ally during difficult times in its country, and we will provide any assistance if Congo requires it.

Dear Muhammed Onwudiwe,
It's such an unpredictable time that I have gotten a chance to contact you today. For more than a year, I have been representing Thailand as an ambassador in the Congo. I am studying the history and culture of Congo as a representative of Thailand. I've always thought of this nation as simply an extraordinarily enthusiastic people who have developed into the current regional power in Central Africa. It's something that your nation has accomplished. Together, Thailand and Congo went through a trying period when we were not on the same page, but it helped to forge the friendship we have today.
I awoke last night from a raging sound of combat in Kinshasa. I believe it to be a crackdown on criminal gangs inside your country. It appears that much more has happened than that. I'm not fully aware of what's going on in the Congo, but I'd like to learn more. Can you share information on Congo's current internal affairs state? Is this country experiencing a civil war between the government and the criminal Gangs? Why have you been holding the title of Designated Regent for about a year now? Has anything happened to the monarch? Bhumibol Adulyadej has desired to meet him for some time now.
