To the Foreign Ministry of Korea,

Thailand wishes to express its gratitude for congratulating the Republic of Korea for escaping from the unknown monarch that claimed the sovereignty of the Korean people early this year. We were shocked to receive the intelligence that there was a coronation ceremony in Korea in which we couldn't trace the monarch's ancestors during our investigation. We are relieved knowing that the Korean people still hold their republic determination at their heart belief. It is saddening that the last communication between our previous prime minister and Korea's premier was a negative response, where we stood on the opposite side. Despite our oscillate relationship in the past, Thailand hopes that we can continue the cordial partnership, where we treat one another with honesty. We want to see more regulation cooperation between our countries on Labor registration. We have 160,000 Thai nationals working in Korea, and 140,000 are "Little Ghost" or illegal immigrant workers from our country. It is reasonable to understand that in 1995, the Korean minimum wage was almost seven times more than our country. We wish to order the trading vessel for oversea commerce in the future, and we will have a form to purchase it in the future. Thailand and Vietnam still wish to have Korea in the ASEAN Plus, which Korea has significantly supported our meeting. We hope it is possible that Korea is still interested in it.

Sincerely
Rommanee Kananurak
Thai Ambassador to Korea
Republic of Thailand

Dear Pin Young-Jae

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to explore the possibility of future collaboration between our two countries. Tomorrow at 10 a.m., I want to visit the Korean Foreign Affairs Ministry. I'm excited to meet you.

Kindest Regards
Rommanee Kananurak
Thai Ambassador to Korea
Republic of Thailand

Ambassador Rommanee would arrive at the embassy at 6 a.m. the next morning to arrange his things and himself for the upcoming meeting in four hours. He makes every effort to organize himself so that he may be ideal by himself, as the Thai embassy there does not provide him with a counselor. He will leave the embassy in his private vehicle half an hour before the scheduled time and go to the Korean Foreign Ministry. After passing through the entry, he will locate a parking spot for his vehicle. He'll enter the building and check-in to let the record know that he is there that day. He then asks the receptionist for the Korean Foreign Minister's office.

Upon the Ambassador reaching reception, the receptionist would request some formal ID before escort him to the Foreign Ministers office, the Foreign Minister moved from his desk to the sofas and tables, where an aide would put various breakfast items and refreshments for the Ambassador and Minister.

The receptionist would knock on the door quite loudly “Come in” stated the Minister, he arose from the Sofa moving towards the door, standing firmly with the receptionist leading the Thai Ambassador inside, the Minister would extend his hand, offering a firm handshake “Welcome Ambassador, please help yourself. I hope the traffic wasn’t too bad this morning?” the Minister would gesture to the sofas, while taking a seat himself then pouring himself a hot cup of coffee.

With both the delegations getting settled, the receptionist would close the door behind her, while going back to her desk.

Ambassador Rommanee would present the receptionist with certain official documents, such as his national ID card and a Thai Foreign Ministry ID card. After concluding the process at the reception, he will follow the receptionist to the Korean Minister's office. He wanders down the corridor, looking around because it's his nature to explore new places, even though he's been here before when he first arrived in Korea. He would stand behind the receptionist when meeting the office to wait for the sign to go inside. The Korean Foreign Minister calls him in. He follows the receptionist.

While answering the handshake, he greets the Korean Minister in a friendly, formal manner. "Minister Pin, it's my pleasure." During the minister phase, he giggles as his mind interprets it into Thai in numerous ways. "As usual, Seoul is a hive of activity. It is now known to me." He takes a step toward the sofa before taking a seat. "I can't say I haven't had my fill, but a little extra for my stomach is always a delight." Following the minister, he pours the same beverage into his cup. He is looking forward to his second breakfast with the minister, which he would spend speaking with him. When they finish, the ambassador will begin the conversation.

"Isn't it true that we're all set for the discussion now? I am relieved that the Republic of Korea has returned. She or her country has left numerous legacies in Thailand and Vietnam. During the ASEAN Plus summit. We received many gifts from Korea, which helped improve us as a country. Korea had been gone for a year, and a lot had changed. I want to learn more about the current state of Korea, including its politics, economics, people, North and South Korea, and Armed services."

"We are Ambassador!" the Minister paused while taking a sip from his coffee before continuing "Well as you may know, after the fall of the previous Korean Administration. Korea turned to turmoil, the development of the North stopped, the Armed Forces of Korea disbanded, so to speak we are starting from Ground Zero. Completely fresh, we shall be looking to the world and its partners into helping us develop the North and turn it into a grand area for all Koreas to live in. We shall slowly build up our arsenal but of course this takes time and money! How is it back home? I've of course heard some disturbing news regarding Laos, is it? But of course, I'd like to know more about this."

"A fresh start is preferable to a bleak legacy from previous uncertainty!" In response to the Korean Minister's kind manner, Ambassador Rommanee smiles. "Thailand now is a lot more appealing than it was in 1995! We are working hard to transition from a developing high-middle-income country to a developed one and provide the Thai with the greatest services. The war in Laos has slowed things down considerably. We're presently in the second round of talks, and things are looking well for me, as we may soon have a white peace. After this battle, the best chance is for long-term stability." He takes a breath before continuing.

"First, I'd like us to talk about foreign politics. If Thailand and Korea are on the same page, I should let you know. China and Russia attempt to influence Asia, and they all can govern us. Korea now has a physical border with China and Russia, which I feel you should monitor. Also, who do you favor in terms of global power? America, the United Kingdom, or Sweden?"

"Luckily, we haven't had any contact with either party, however I must assure you that we the Korean Administration will not roll over. We are definitely taking precautions with all our borders." the Minister paused clearing his throat before continuing "In terms of global power? The United Kingdom is a strong one at the moment with Sweden behind followed by the United States.

I'm glad to hear you might have some white peace following the situation within Laos. If there is anything my Administration can do to help facilitate any talks then do let us know, we will be more than willing to help and host.

Ambassador Rommanee feels relief after he hears the answer from the Korean Minister. "The UK is a wealthy nation and has a significant worldwide presence. I completely concur that they are in that position. I've heard from our government that there is a military presence from the United States in London. The three great powers are at their most cooperative now, in our opinion, thanks to the war that Turkey started." He takes a little pause. "Additionally, I want to talk about the "Little Ghost" matter I alluded to in the email. In the 1990s, Korea attained full development. Your country has economic development capability, and your economy is excellent. It makes us deem that Korea still has sparse regulation on illegal labor. I would like to know the Korean government's view on this issue and how they want to take care of it, and we can cooperate."

Illegal labor was a thing of the North, and now that the Republic has taken over both sides & united us as one we vow to bring illegal labor to the end. We are opening a specialist police task force which sole purpose will be cracking down on illegal labour, so any information your Ministry of Justice can pass along on any previous operations that the Thai have done to combat this in Thailand would be much appreciated

"We appreciate that Korea is willing to assist us. Illegal labor is the issue that we need to solve before it gets any worse. Some employers use this vulnerability to employ cheap to produce low-quality products in the market. They do not have welfare benefits from Korea and Thailand because they do not register themselves in the legal labor system. We want to cooperate with the Korean specialist task force to crack down on the organization that uses their wisdom to expose the law. We wish to register them into the legitimate labor system, which they can work legally and receive benefits from their employer. I want to know if Korea may let us deploy an NIA operative specialist in operation reporter to aid the task force?

"I shall pass the request on to the Ministry of Interior & Safety but I'm sure the request would be approved straight away, it'll be our honour to have a member of the NIA to join our task force. How are things back home? I hope your administration has plans to fight corruption at the highest level? We plan on doing the same in the North as corruption was so high when the North was a dictatorship."
