Dear Enrique Romero,

Hello! I am Sukhumbhand Paribatra, the deputy foreign minister. We used to have a call via telephone to discuss our cooperation. I hope you are still an ambassador here as I am sending it to the embassy email address. You might have heard about the 9th National Economic and Social Development Plan. Things are going well as expected. The Immigration Office has seen the expansion of Thai citizens working in Mexico and Mexican citizens laboring in Thailand. I want to arrange a meeting between you and me to discuss the Employment Visa Agreement. We have to prepare the document, but it will be impolite if Mexico doesn't bargain. I also want to speak with you about your current view on world politics. I hope you can meet me at 13:00 tomorrow. It will be after my lunch. Please let me know about your decision. I will be waiting for it.

The next day was filled with tedious appointments. As 1300 hrs. came up fast. Ambassador Romero would leave in his motorcade and make his way to meet with the Thai Deputy Minister. He would swing by the embassy and pick up his documents before making his way there. He would arrive at 1255 hrs. and would run up the steps and make a meet with the secretary.

He would be out of breath but attempted his best to remain professional. "Pardon me, I had an appointment with Deputy Minister Sukhumbhand Paribatra. It was scheduled at 1300, I do hope that I'm not late." He would check his watch, 1257 hrs.

Ambassador Romero would see the massive-rapid-ongoing of construction of the new floor of hundred of the building become skyrises and apply to the existing ones. It was bad luck for him that Deputy Minister Sukhumbhand arranged such a meeting during lunchtime of the office workers, which resulted in a traffic hell experience for him. At least he didn't need to pay for the Special highway toll. When he arrived at the Thai Foreign Affairs Ministry, the clean air present in the park would welcome him refreshingly. This lush green is from the government effort of the development plan. The most surprising and admirable is that the pavement is finally spotless from holes. He would make his way to arrive in front of the secretary's desk and catch that some employees were still eating lunch. The female secretary greets him with an engaging smile. "Good afternoon, mister Enrique! Please not worry. Sukhumbhand himself overestimates that he can escape from slacking off before lunch." She giggles and hands over a paper for the ambassador to sign and print his fingerprint. "We have many new interns and trainees recently. They help us a lot in easing the work, especially the coffee issue." She will then guide the ambassador around to the Deputy Minister's office while the other secretary watches the desk. "This is his office. Please excuse me." She then Wai(Thai greeting) and walks away.

Sukhumbhand is in his office waiting for the ambassador to come in. The time should be about 4 minutes late, but the Romero check-in in time.
