Dear Secretary Olga Sánchez Cordero,

It has been a while since the Republic of Thailand government has an official communication with the Mexican government. Mexico is our international partner and a cordial friend of Thailand during a difficult time. I gladfully reach out to you, a secretary, to propose a meeting between you and myself. The Thai government is moving forward along with flowing time into the year 2001. We have entered the second year of the new millennium. We are seeking better cooperation and connection with Mexico, our dignified ally. Mexico conflicts with the drug cartels, and we deem it appropriate to include this matter in our meeting. Thailand wishes to comprehend and learn about the Mexican government's vision of the future of their country and how Mexico can achieve it.

Sincerely
Paisan Rupanitkit
Thai ambassador to Mexico
Republic of Thailand

Dear Secretary Olga Sánchez Cordero,

Thank you for your reply. I have discussed the scheduled time. I am delighted to inform you that we want to choose tomorrow at 11.00 am for our appointment. The Foreign Ministry of Thailand will provide me the transportation from the embassy to the Mexican government house or your desired place. Please let me know if this is suitable for you.

Sincerely
Paisan Rupanitkit
Thai ambassador to Mexico
Republic of Thailand

The ambassador will process the appointment as planned if the Mexican secretary does not request any changes. To arrive at the meeting location on time with the embassy vehicle, Paisan will leave the embassy at the appropriate moment. He'll walk up to the Mexican Government House and go inside to meet Cordero's secretary. He will say hello and go to the meeting room after they direct him there.

Dear Ambassador Paisan Rupanitkit,

Tomorrow at 11:00 AM is perfect. I will prepare notes and talking points for Mexico's interest. I look forward to seeing you here.

Best Regards,
Olga Sánchez Cordero
Secretary of Government

United Mexican States

Ambassador Paisan would be greeted by the secretary and hand him a badge. He would then be escorted into the meeting room. Secretary Sánchez Cordero would be inside making a pot of coffee. She was wearing a bright yellow sun dress.
"Please come in take a seat. Can I get you anything?" She would ask. If so, she would prepare any refreshments and present it to the Ambassador before taking her seat. She would pull up a brown leather case from under the table and pull out some papers. She would neatly organize the papers on the table. She would then take a sip of her coffee and let out a sigh of relief of the caffeinated beverage coursing through her body. "So where shall we begin?"

"I would like some Mexican tea. I have seen in the supermarket that most of it include herbal. I will try the refreshment of it." Ambassador Paisan would find a seat while waiting for the secretary to organize the papers. He answers her. "Let's begin with the review of what Thailand and Mexico have accomplished in the past. First, let's talk about of current trade deal. Mexico currently has a trade surplus over Thailand. It's something that we want to amend the agreement to be fairer on our side. We still admire the current trade deal as it is an initiative for our broader Machinery market, especially when our administration supports the Market Economy. It has resulted in great success for the producer to reduce their supply and maintain an equilibrium. In return, an import from Mexico also opens new choices for our consumers and some producers. Our farmer has already been fertilization between Mexican livestock and Thais. The Fruits and Vegetables we import from Mexico have already appeared in effect. The market gets increased availability and variety of fresh produce. At last, we want to amend the MEX-CS3. We want to include our Rubber, Rubber Articles for a Round Trip. It will give us a balance in trade, while Mexico still holds a little trade surplus. I want to know if this is acceptable to you."
