Within the confines of the US Department of Defense, a secure and high-level line was requested from the fairly familiar connection. On the other side of the communication line, Sutin Klungsang, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Thailand, was waiting for his direct call with the American Secretary of Defense, John Glass.
