Anyone who wasn't busy dealing with protests, riots and the general angry demeanor of the Serbian People would notice something odd across Belgrade. The Gendarmery had started setting up checkpoints all around the city, armed extremely heavily and acting quite coarse to everyone they talked to. Closer to the Government District, they had set up M2 Machine Guns and Zastava M84s. At the President's Residence, the 200 members of the Counter-Terrorist Battalion "Hawks" had gathered, and built up a barricade, with all their weapons facing towards the building. Meanwhile, the Parliament was likewise surrounded by the 500 Special Reconnaissance Operators of the 72nd Reconnaissance-Commando Battalion. Finally, the Prime Minister's office was surrounded by the 500 Airborne Rangers of the 63rd Parachute Battalion. All of them, with weapons facing inwards. Shots had also been heard inside the Military's headquarters, although it seemed no one was responding, and only junior officers were entering or exiting.

Above the City, A MH-60G Pave Hawk would begin a flight from the Military's Headquarters towards the President's Residence. At the same time, from Batajnica Air Base, 4 CH-53Ks would take off, heading towards the Parliament. Painted on the sides of these CH-53Ks would be an emblem. It was impossible to see, but the occupants of these helicopters were all wearing gas masks, and carrying some heavy equipment alongside them.

Anyone paying attention would know that, indeed, something very interesting was about to happen.

Serbian National Assembly

The representatives were still in cantankerous debate, completely unaware of what was happening outside. They were screaming at each other trying to come up with different solutions to the problem they and the president had gotten the country in. All of a sudden, the lights went, out, followed by the clanking of metal objects being thrown in, and the hissing sound of gas coming out of canisters. Eventually, they all found it difficult to breathe, as they also hear the loud whirring of 4 CH-53K King Stallions landing outside. Suddenly 200 Men, rushed out of the helicopters and into the building, wearing gas masks to protect themselves from the CS Gas that had been thrown inside. These were members of Umbrella Company of the 25th CBRN Containment Unit. They would start rounding up parliament members, shooting leaders of the Government on identification.

In a Similar action to what happened at the National Assembly, the entire building would be filled with CS Gas, as the MH-60G landed on the roof, and the 10 Members of the 25th CBRN Containment Unit's Special Tactics And Rescue Squad exited. They would move in, ushering staff out of the building and shooting government officials on sight. Once they moved into the room where the President was, they would shoot all the generals and commanders in the room, dragging him out of the building to the square in front, making sure that everyone, including any press, could see as the Commander walked up to the president, threw him to the ground, and looked away as he fired his CZ99 into the President's temple, blood spattering all over the concrete.

By the time sun had risen, the Gendarmery had taken over the capital. Every government building had heavily armed officers outside of it, the special forces besieging the residence and national assembly had detained or executed the governmental leaders in those buildings. Around 0900 Local time, a pair of lieutenant colonels had been seen entering the Serbian Armed Forces headquarters, accompanied by a large cadre of Gendarmery and Serbian Police officers. If it hadn't been made abundantly clear yet, then it was now, this wasn't just some run-of-the-mill mutiny. This was a Coup de'tat.

The Serbian Ascendancy would declare the border between Kosovo and Serbia completely shut down, and all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo would be declared persona non grata in the Serbian Ascendancy's territory. The same proclamation would go for Albanians, who the new government saw as no better than the Republic of Kosovo. Anyone crossing the border would be warned, detained if possible, but if they resisted detainment, would be treated as hostile, and heavier force, including non-lethal weaponry, or in the event of an armed or possibly-armed individual, lethal weaponry, would be authorized for use.

All flights originating from or en route to any airports in the Republic of Kosovo were banned from Serbian Airspace and would be intercepted, confronted, and if unresponsive or uncompliant, would be engaged as a possible terrorist threat if they entered Serbian Airspace.

All infrastructure and utility interconnections between Kosovo and Serbia were severed at the earliest opportunity, and all roads between the two were slated for destruction.

The Canadian Government STRONGLY urges that Serbia allow Kosovans and Albanians free passage to LEAVE Serbia if they wanted to, to facilitate them being considered as refugees for resettlemenet in either Canada, Vietnam or another country. Furthermore, they've warned Serbia if they do not allow free passage for them to leave Serbia, Canada will take decisive military action to make sure that it happens.

The Irish Government would applaud Serbia's new regime for having done everything within its capacity to deny purponents of terrorist sentiment a foothold in their own backyard but would humbly request that the new regime allow for exemptions in order for refugees to exit the country in a safe and controlled manner. Furthermore, a plea for restraint would be sent to Serbiw with the intention of denying the west a PR victory from which to demonize Serbia for pursuing its own interests.

The Serbian Government would note that It has already given Ethnic Albanians plenty of time to vacate the country, which almost all of them complied with, and that once their time was complete, detention would be a reasonable response. Any Kosovars or Albanians caught in or attempting to enter Serbia will be subject to deportation once cleared of ties to the KLA anyways, so Canada's empty posturing and intimidation were useless, and a waste both of the Ascendancy's time, and the world's time.

"Almost all is not the same as all. There are still Kosovars/Albanians in Serbia and if the Serbia doesn't comply with allowing them to leave Serbia then Canada will still take military action. If Serbia did go ahead with the indefinite detention of persons based on ethnicity, then Canada's resolve to military intervene in that matter grows stronger and we're sure many other countries would join us. Serbia has 24 hours to release all Kosovars/Albanians who haven't been formally and fairly charged, trialed and sentenced from detention and to allow them to cross the border OUT of Serbia freely. Serbia has every right to stop people from coming into the country, but stopping people from leaving is a whole other question and a complete violation of human rights." Nations of concern would be alerted to this pressing and dire human rights issue.

The Serbian Ascendancy would announce that, to its knowledge, all Albanians and Kosovars legally present in Serbia were now out of Serbia. Any illegally present would be slated for immediate accompaniment to the frontier of the country, unharmed and as a service both to them and the state, unless they were armed or uncooperative, in which it was the right of the government to detain them, and it would be suspected they were acting in hostility to Serbia.

Canada thanks Serbia for its cooperation and willingness to not have CF-18's level Belgrade see a peaceful resolution to these matters.
