"Behold I come against thee, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will burn thy chariots even to smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey out of the land, and the voice of thy messengers shall be heard no more." ~ Nahum 2:13

At Midnight on Wednesday March 19th 2003, all clergy and religious within the land of Turkey opened letters addressed to them by the pope, by 12:05am all of them had dawned mufti and disappeared in to the night. Including the Apostolic Nuncio Bishop Edmond Farhat who was accompanied by the Inquisitor and his assistant, who had emptied the Inquisition armory at the Basilica. The only thing left behind at all the churches was a pile of burning books and papers in a fire proof receptacle in the courtyard, destroying all church records on membership and clergy. By the time the Turkish Government would come looking for them, they will have vanished like so much smoke on the wind. For this was not the first time that the Church had been able to pull of an operation of this nature, historically one is reminded of Friday October 13th 1307 when the campaign against the Knights Templar was successfully brought to fruition, without any inkling from the Knights themselves.

This enigmatic event has left government officials and the general public bewildered, and authorities have commenced efforts to shed light on this perplexing matter.

Multiple sources have independently confirmed reports of clergy adopting mufti attire and vanishing into the night. This includes the unexplained disappearance of the Apostolic Nuncio Bishop Edmond Farhat, the Inquisitor, and their assistant, along with the emptying of the Inquisition armory at the Basilica.

Adding to the puzzle is the meticulously orchestrated burning of church records, encompassing membership details and records of clergy, all contained in fireproof receptacles placed in the courtyards of the affected churches. This comprehensive operation took place without any prior warning or detectable signs, marking it as an unprecedented event in recent memory.

The Turkish government assures its citizens that a comprehensive and thorough investigation is now in progress to unravel the circumstances surrounding this unexpected occurrence.
