Overview: With the recent discovery that members of the former administration are attempting to subvert the government, the decision has been made to involve the military in operations to augment the National Police, as well as to safeguard against the potential presence of former military in any armed groups. This operation will attempt to root out and destroy the group that is responsible for this, as well as capture the former President Bacheli, whose current whereabouts are not known.

At the 1st Battalion, 4th Mechanized Infantry Brigade's headquarters in Turkish Land Forces Base, Ankara, there was a flurry of activity. Units within the battalion that had received warning orders to prepare drew began preparations, cleaning weapons, practicing shooting, doing mock raids, and conducting maintenance and fueling of their vehicles. The activated units would also have recently finished Otokar Cobras delivered to them to augment the 8 they began with - a total of 8 per company, for 40 total added vehicles. The activated Reserve units would also be arriving at the base, preparing their own weaponry and equipment. The 137th Logistics Brigade Company A would also have 50 Mercedes-Benz AXOR trucks delivered for logistical support as necessary. While all the preparation was ongoing, the National Police investigation continued, spearheaded by a task force of senior investigators. Using information previously gathered, the task force had already pinpointed the location of a potential weapons cache just outside the city, in a compound in Yukari. Company A began planning and preparations to seize the cache.
