With the seismic change in Turkey's form of governance, and the dissolution of the republic, all diplomatic missions across the globe that are of Turkish origin have lost their legitimacy. As such, the new Ottoman government sends a notification to all nations that had republican embassies still in operation stating that they are being withdrawn. The note states unequivocally that the withdrawal is solely so that the republican embassy staff can be replaced with Ottoman selected personnel. In addition to an apology for the disruption, there is a guarantee that this does not affect any embassies that are currently open in Turkey.

Across the globe, every Turkish embassy has any sensitive documents destroyed or transferred securely to Turkey, followed by the republican personnel and ambassadors heading home.
