Greetings, as the world scene stabilizes, and nations find their footings, it will be important that governments not always seen in the mainstream work together for the advancement of their own people and their own interests. We believe that a strong bilateral relationship between the Ukraine and Myanmar would be beneficial to both parties. Our governments should work together to ensure trade of culture, goods, and ideas between one another, as well as work together to strengthen the national security of on another. The Ukrainian arms industry could offer numerous pieces of equipment to your government as well as investment into education and healthcare locally in Myanmar. Please let us know if you are amenable to working together.

My sincerest apologies for the late response, we are of course agreeable to working together with like-minded nations such as the Ukrainian SSR. We are interested in hearing what ideas you have in mind, but first I believe that opening formal diplomatic ties should be the first course of action. Our country underwent a period of isolationism during the years of the military government and we are open to establishing ties to countries outside of our immediate environs.

As of now, there is no resident embassy of Myanmar in Ukraine, nor one of Ukraine in Myanmar, although your embassy in Bangkok does have accreditation here. I would like to invite you to establish a permanent embassy in our capital, Yangon. If you agree, we shall procure a residence for your mission here.

I would be delighted to travel to Yangon to officially open a Ukrainian Embassy in the capital of Myanmar, it is a logical and productive first step to show our seriousness in our commitment to bilateral relations between our two nations. If it is agreeable to you, the opening of the embassy could be fitted within a multiday bilateral summit in which we can lay the framework for the future relations between Ukraine and Myanmar.
