A single 747-100 docked at the terminal, the Jetbridge already connected to its front most door. The pararescuemen would be walking along it, talking amongst themselves, the agents following close behind. None of them were armed and instead of combat gear, their equipment would be made up of respirators, high-visibility clothing, hardhats and rescue equipment - which was all being held in the cargo hold. As they begin to board the plane, they would begin to take their seats, spread across the plane as they head many cheats to choose from. Once all are onboard, the Jetbridge would be removed and the doors sealed. The aircraft had already been fuelled, The Captain would contact the tower;

"Andrews Ground - Boxer 8-4, good day"

"Boxer 8-4, good day, go ahead"

"At parking, information Tango, read to copy, Boxer 8-4"

"Boxer 8-4, you are cleared to Echo-November-Gold-Mike, 4000 feet, contact when ready to start"

"Clearded to Echo-November-Gold-Mike, 4000 feet, contact when ready to start, Boxer 8-4"

"Boxer 8-4, Readback is correct"

After about one minute, the Captain would contact the tower again.

"Andrews ground, Boxer 8-4, request start up"

"Boxer 8-4, startup approved, report when ready to taxi"

"Start up approved, call you back when ready to taxi, Boxer 8-4"

The Captain once again goes quiet as he begins to power up the engines, soon enough, they would spool into life as the familiar ring of jet engines fills the area around the aircraft.

"Andrews ground, request pushback, Boxer 8-4"

"Boxer 8-4, pushback approved at own discretion"

A pushback tractor with a towbar on apron would approach the front of the aircraft. The crews beginning to fix the towboard to the front wheels, the vehicle begins to push the aircraft back, the pilots steering in line with the taxi lines.

Once they were in place, the ground crews would unfix the towbar and the tractor drives off, the Captain once again contacts ground.

"Andrews Ground, Boxer 8-4, request taxi"

"Boxer 8-4, taxi to holding point runway one-nine right"

"Roger, Taxi to holding point runway one-nine right"

The pilots would push the throttle forward slightly, and the aircraft begins to creep forward towards the runway. After a few minutes, the aircraft would arrive on the runway.

"Andrews ground, Boxer 8-4, holding point runway one-nine right"

"Boxer 8-4, contact Andrews Tower on 119.400."

"Roger, contact Andrews Tower on 119.400. Boxer 8-4"

The Captain would reach over to the comm panel, turning the dial until it was on 119.400.

"Andrews tower, Boxer 8-4, good day, holding point runway one-nine right, ready for departure"

"Boxer 8-4, Andrews tower, wind one-two-zero degrees, three knots. Clear for takeoff runway one-nine right, report leaving three thousand feet"

"Clear for take off runway one-nine right. Call you back passing three thousand feet, Boxer 8-4"

After being given clearance, the co-pilot lowers the flaps to number ten on the panel, which is about halfway. Once they are down, the pilot pushes the throttle forward all of the way, the engines spool up fast as the aircraft begins to pull forward. Soon enough, it would be racing down the runway at 140 knots. Once the speed hit 150 knots, the pilots would pull back on the wheels infront of them, gradually lifting the aircraft off the ground. It was a good take off, the plane slowly gaining altitude as the pilots begin to nudge the aircraft, using the wheel and rudder, towards the location, which was to their six.

Soon enough, the aircraft would reach three thousand feet.

"Andrews tower, Boxer 8-4, Leaving three thousand feet."

"Boxer 8-4, Airborne at 12. Contact Potomac Radar on 118.950"

"Contact Potomac Radar on 118.950, roger, Boxer 8-4"

The Captain would once again turn the dial on the comm panel.

"Potomac Radar, Boxer 8-4. three thousand-five hundred feet. Inbound Tango-Oscar-Charlie"

"Boxer 8-4, Potomac Radar, Radar contact. Waypoint Tango-Oscar-Charlie. Heading Zero-Three-Six"

At the same point, out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, the two C-5s would have gone through the same process (typed this bcos i cba to rp that again^)

Norway's military air traffic control guided the aircraft via secure channels to land at Oslo's international airport. From there, they would be taken to Oslo through an escort from the Army. The Americans would be given whatever they needed once they landed, within reason. Once they were in Oslo, they were brought to the operations command center in downtown Oslo near the collapsed Kapital Tower. Norwegian authorities were informed that the Americans would be in Norway to help with the relief efforts. The names of all the Americans arriving would be taken down. They were not permitted to bring firearms outside of their aircraft, which was being treated as a kind of diplomatic flight, but they of course were allowed to keep their IDs and badges.
