Greetings,

I would like to maintain trade relations with the United States with the creation of a trade route as well as a discussion of trade routes, exports, and imports. We are interested in importing Refined Petroleum, Pharmaceuticals, and Cars. We are interested in exporting Footwear, Textiles, and Computers. I have also been told by the military that there is an interest in importing specific ammunition types in mass. The M900 APFSDS-T, M1061 HEAT-T, M393A3 HEP-T, and M1040 Canister.

Best wishes

Good Evening,
I am glad you have decided to get in touch with myself, and we are more than happy to open up trade routes between our countries. Whilst generic Pharmaceuticals and Petroleum are clear in trade, we will need to know which cars you wish to import. We currently have Ford, General Motors and Tesla with vehicles ready to export. Will you also give me some time to drill up a price on the ammunition and whether the DOD is willing to export.

Greetings,

I believe Ford vehicles will do nicely as they are known for their reliability yes? I believe such a brand will do well in Vietnam. However I believe a smaller number of Tesla vehicles will do as well. Though their price point may make them a rough sell over here. Currently we are putting together a trade fleet which will be operational very soon. I look forward to seeing our trade route active. However that leaves one very important detail, what route to take? Also, I look forward to hearing back from you on the ammunition.

Best wishes

Good Evening,
I think that footwear, textiles and computers are all needed within the United States so we are interested in importing said things. We currently have two 5,100 unit car carriers that we can provide to this route on a weekly basis, providing 10,000 vehicles per week, is that something you'd be interested in? We also cannot export refined petroleum at the moment as we are still weighing our options on what vessels to purchase. However, we can provide Pharmaceuticals, in which we will provide one 20,600 TEU vessel, each TEU would be loaded with 1,172 cu ft of various Pharmaceuticals. Now, going back to the vehicle discussion, we can export the follow vehicles:
  • Ford Ka
  • Ford Focus (Standard and RS Line)
  • Ford Fiesta (Standard and ST Line)
  • Ford Mondeo
  • Ford Taurus
  • Ford Mustang
  • Ford GT
  • Ford Explorer
  • Ford Expedition
  • Ford Transit
  • Ford F-150
  • Tesla Model S
  • Tesla Model X

Greetings,

Those models will do, and I am sure with our ever growing economy that they will be most popular here. So yes, we would be very interest in that in the numbers specified. That leaves motor vehicles and pharmaceuticals on the list as you will be unable to export petroleum. However will you be able to inform us when you are able to? That would be much appreciated.

Also, were you able to find the prices on the ammunition?

Best wishes

Good Evening,
Yes, you will be informed straight away when we are able to export the petroleum. So shall we get a trade agreement written up? Or do you have a draft ready to sign? Also, the prices for the ammunition requested have been listed below:
  • M900 APFSDS-T - $18,000.00
  • M1061 HEAT-T - $18,900.00
  • M393A3 HEP-T - $800.00
  • M1040 Canister - $3,300.00

Please note that this price is per round.

Greetings,

Considering the importance of this trade agreement I feel that we should have a custom one written up rather then using a standard trade deal. I would very much appreciate it if we could hold a conference call to iron out the details once a draft is written up. Also listed bellow is what we want in numbers for ammunition.
  • 32,000 x M900 APFSDS-T
  • 32,000 x M1061 HEAT-T
  • 32,000 x M393A3 HEP-T
  • 32,000 x M1040 Canister
If you could give us a total I can get the funds sent immediately.

Best wishes

Ngô Xuân Lịch the Minister of Defence following the establishment of the new permanent government after months of a temporary government would decide to resume communications with the United States. They would initiate a call with Frank Sanchez, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade as they had invited them to previously. The phone would ring and the minister would await a pickup or voice machine.

Frank Sanchez would pick up the phone, noticing the caller ID. "Mister Lich! Pleasure to hear from you, how can I be of assistance?"

"Ah hello! I wanted to inform you that we are currently looking to purchase a number of supply ships and I believe that the cargo ship manufacturing capability of the US would be excellent to fulfill this need. We are in a desperate need for ships to keep our country well supplied and well connected. But unfortunately budgetary constraints have come up that make our usual habit of buying super cargo ships rather... impractical. We are looking to a solution to this need similar to the US made Victory class ship or perhaps even that class of ship in itself."

"Yes, of course, we would be more than willing to begin construction on these vessels for you. However, since these vessels were constructed during the WW2 era, it will take me some time to find a price that fits with the current times. Whilst I am doing that, is there anything else you would like to discuss?"

"Ah, you can still make them then? Though is there any alternatives you might recommend? Regardless, as for other matters I am interested in putting together a team of advisers to determine a plan for the modernization and development of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. As the USA is a leading developed country I would be very pleased if you would be able to provide a team that can then survey the country to help us determine what needs to be done in a realistic fashion. This is a project that the engineers within my ministry including myself are very interested in."
