"Our goal is indeed to be a good influence on the world. Nations that only seek to loot the other nations of the world for their resources should be stuck firmly where they belong... the past. The future is cooperation."

"How many of the OT-64 SKOT are available? We may be interested in purchasing a large amount of them if that is the case. As they are better we may use them with our Naval Infantry instead of the BTR. Also yes, we would be interested in purchasing perhaps all of your retired Polnocny-class landing ships that you have available. You see the South China Sea and it's Islands are a concern for us, and we must have the means to rapidly deploy within it to safeguard our territory."

"As for the trucks would you be able to also sell us the tooling required to make them? I believe this would also help our early auto industry learn something valuable about it. "

"That is a goal we can support. And we agree. Those nations who only seek to loot should be left in the past. The dark ages are behind us, though it seems we will see them thrust upon us soon with the issues in the Middle East currently happened."

"We will be selling around 250 OT-64s once the first phase of our modernization is complete. Sorry for the misunderstanding about the Polnocny-class. There are none remaining but I am reaching out to the Ministry of Defense to see if there is anything we can do for you, in regards to selling plans or building them for you. That is a goal that Poland is also attempting to establish our fleet enough to rapidly deploy anywhere within the world quickly to assist our allies and citizens."

"The production license for the 266 trucks would including the tooling requirements to manufacture the trucks. We also issue the production license with a maintenance license that allows your nation to perform maintenance without having to ship them back to Poland or Poland sending out a team to Vietnam to perform maintenance routines."

"Such nations existed not long ago, within this century in fact. Both of our nations have been victims to such looters and conquerors. Poland twice in rapid pace. It is our hope that with the start of the next century that these looting nations shall be surpressed. The situation in the middle east must be resolved without the rise of such a power."

"How much for the 250 OT-64s? We would like to purchase them all. What variant of the Polnocny-class would you be willing to sell the plans of? We are also very interested in using our native ship building industry. Giving it experience through building reliable designs such as that would be good. A strong Vietnam however is one with good partners around the world, so we are not against buying ships directly either."

"I see. How long would it take for you to send the tooling with the license?"

"We would be willing to offer the plans of the NS-722 class as well as the Project 776. They would offer the Vietnamese navy a well rounded landing platform program that gives you a stepping stone for advancement into more modernized landing platform ships. As for the OT-64, we would be willing to sell them at eight hundred and fifty thousand apiece. They have not seen any combat and only a few training exercises. We would service them to ensure there are no damaged parts or defects as well. We would not like to sell someone a piece of junk. Especially at the start of such a great friendship in its earliest stages. Regarding purchasing ships, as we continue to modernize our armed forces, we will be sure to keep Vietnam's in mind in case we wish to sell off any surplus."

"The tooling can be sent via mail, or we can have our ambassador bring the specifications with him upon his arrival to take over the Embassy in Hanoi."

"I am unfamiliar with these classifications, as I am merely asking what I was requested to ask in many cases. Could you tell me the difference between the NS-722 class and the Polnocny? As for the OT-64 that would mean the total comes out to... $12,700,000.00 which to me sounds like a good deal. How long will it take to service them prior to shipment? I believe that with certainty our Naval Infantry forces will be able to utilize these ships and these APC effectively. Now prior to purchase, are there any upgrade kits we can purchase to be applied to these? One thing we are looking to incorporate here is command vehicles. If not then it is no trouble."

"You can send it via mail if that is the easiest option."

"These classifications are modifications done to the Polnocny by the Polish Navy. The NS-722 has a larger displacement and features a single helicopter landing platform on the deck of the ship. The Project 776 was designed as an amphibious assault command ship. It lacks the helicopter landing pad of the NS-722 but has increased control systems to help command amphibious assault operations. The maintenance on the OT-64 will be done soon to insure they are up to snuff and should not take long, unfortunately I do not have a specific amount of time on hand. And I'm sure your naval forces will be able to utilize these ships and vehicles effectively as well. We don't currently utilize a command vehicle but there are modifications for a command vehicle for the OT-64 known as the Skot R-2. We would be willing to manufacture these for you. It is used for the battalion and regimental command teams. Comes with four radios, three radio receivers, and three radiotelephones. It is unarmed, however."

"Once we get the final number for selling the Polnocny-class, and the payment from you, we will send it through first class shipping."

"I see, and with this license will we be able to produce any variant of the ships you mentioned? I may be no expert but options sounds like a good thing. We are looking to produce around 12 of the vessels for our use with the Naval Infantry. Also the Skot R-2 sounds good... but is there a version of it that does have weapons? I imagine it would be unhelpful if say a commander found himself ambushed by insurgents without the ability to fire from within? In fact, do you have a list of variants? Finally, back to the kbs wz. 96A Beryl. How much did you want for the license again? Being able to send all the payment at once would be good."

"I would not see why not. With the limited variants of the Polnocny-class ship, we would not be opposed for the production license to cover the variants as well. Unfortunately, there is not an armed version of the R-2. They are designed to operate outside of combat and with escort vehicles. That is to say, there is nothing from stopping the commander to be armed within the confines of the R-2. Hold on a second while I email you a list of variants. As for the Beryl rifle, we would accept say, $500,000 for a production license for the FB Beryl. This would not be a limited production license such as for the Polnocny-class vessel but would allow you to produce enough rifles to sufficiently arm your nation."

"Ah I see your government has changed it's mind on the limited production license for the FB Beryl? This is excellent news. And how many ships is the Polnocny-class license good for? Is it twelve like I mentioned previously? Anyhow it looks like we are slowly approaching and agreement for all of these prospective deals. Lets see we have discussed the trucks, rifles, ships, and those APCSs... Oh yes and of course the development contracts. I was wondering for one in particular at the moment. How modern are the trains that Poland produces?"

"Yes, the Ministry of Defense does not seem to have an issue for a licensed Vietnamese FB Beryl to be built. As for the Polnocny-class, it would encompass the twelve ships mentioned prior in the conversation. Oh, and as for the APCs, the R-2 does indeed come armed. It has a BRDM-2 turret as well as a coaxial fifty caliber WKM-B. It is based off of the NSV but designed for use of the fifty caliber round that is standard in the west and most ASEAN members. Now, for trains. Most of our trains are from the 70's and 80's. While not the technological marvel of most nations these days, they are tried and tested designs."

"Could you perhaps give me a list of Polish OT-64 variants? So that I can properly choose what upgrades would be made prior to delivery. For the trains we are interested in two things. Passenger trains and freight trains. Do you have two models of trains that can fit those descriptions? Speaking of contracts have you had any word on the other requests?"

"I believe we should finish up this purchase yes? We are in a position to buy immediately and only need some final information. I would also like to if possible discuss the situation in Europe from your perspective. As I understand there may be some trouble on your border at this time? We are very far away and are curious as to what the situation looks like from over there."

"I apologize for the length of time but we have faxed over a list of OT-64 variants produced by Poland that we should be able to provide. The best model for trains that come to mind is the ET22 Locomotive. It is an electric locomotive designed for freight hauling with a maximum speed of 125 kilometers a hour with a maximum hauling of 3170 tons at 70 kilometers a hour. It can be utilized as a passenger transport as well, giving more flexibility with this unit. We also recommend the ED72 for long distance passenger transport. Both of these units are electric and not diesel so that should factor into your decision to purchase these. These units can be sold for a $2.3 million for the ET22 and $2.8 for the ED72."

"As for the other requests, we are still asking through companies to see if any are available for such an exercise. As for the price of the Polnocny class we would be willing to settle for $1,572,720,000 for the licensed production of 12 Polnocny-class vessels. With the 250 OT-64s at $850,000 per and the production license for the FB-Beryl's of $500,000. Our current price is at $1,785,720,000. This is before the purchase of any Locomotives. How does this price sound, currently?"

"Once we finish the business at hand, I would be more than willing to discuss the events happened within Europe and South Africa."

"We are interested in having you upgrade it to the SKOT-2A prior to shipment. How long will it take to do this upgrade and how much will it cost? We would also like to have 4 of those be upgraded to the SKOT R-2 so that we can have battalion level command for our Naval Infantry. Is this doable for us?"

"You mentioned the train is electric, now at this time our rail network is not built for such locomotives. However, we are interested in such a project. What rail gauge do they use?"

"This price sounds fair, and we are willing to go forward with it. I will send a memo to have a transfer take place. I do very much like the internet infrastructure upgrades that have happened. We are able to send information far quicker now. Though, the upgrades are Y2K bug immune, yes?"

"I am a bit out of the loop on South Africa. Has anything new occurred?"

"First off, I am very glad to here you are satisfied with the way your telecommunications and internet infrastructure is working now that they have been upgraded. Next, I want to assure you that Poland takes the threat of the Y2K bug very seriously and have made measures with internet companies to insure Poland is not effected or, at least limit the damage caused. We have received a memo from Plus GSM, and surprised your government has not received one, but they have taken steps to mitigate the damage by date windowing on less important and more frequently upgraded components and on the more important programs and devices they have gone through and done what is known as date expansion. I am not entirely familiar with these phrases but I'm sure if you reach out to them, they will be able to answer those questions."

"As for the trains, they utilize standard gauge rails from what I am reading about them."

"I am unaware as to the length of time the upgrades will take, the cost of the upgrade should have been included in the purchase price. It shouldn't take too long to service, maintenance, and upgrade the vehicles."

"The only reports on South Africa we have received are from public press releases and what we learned at the GA assembly regarding Sweden's invasion and subsequent occupation. While Poland doesn't agree with the occupation, we have been monitoring the situation to insure any of Poland's interests are taken care of. What about Vietnam? Is there anything of note on your end of the world that we should be aware of?"

"I will make sure to have there be a follow-up so that these questions may be asked. There was a plan to work with Korea in order to mitigate damages caused by Y2K within Asia, however we have made little progress. Thankfully, we are in a position in which upgrades to prevent the Y2k bug should be a relatively inexpensive fix. As we have only just entered this sphere and our old systems can be rolled back of course until fixes can be applied."

"We will need to upgrade our rail infrastrucutre for use of electric locomotives before we can make such purchases. Do you have any diesel locomotives that you are aware of?"

"We have attempted to remain neutral on the subject of South Africa, however pestering from Sweden into trying to make us pick a side had the unfortunate affect of making us side more with the stance of the USA. It does not help that this came about during the time in which we were discussing things at Jeju. Regardless, there i not much of note here in our end of the world. We are finalizing our efforts to recreate ASEAN however."

"We will also follow up on our end to insure that our foreign affairs ministry has a memo in case any other questions regarding Y2K pop up from other allies and friends."

"We do have a number of Diesel locomotives but they aren't on our current sale list but I can reach out to the appropriate team and get them to do a price check. Off the top of my head we have the SU42 and the SM42 which are passenger and light freight work. Then we have the ST44 which is designed for heavy freight. Let me send off an email to get some more information on them." The Vietnamese counterpart could hear the clacking of a keyboard rapidly typing words before the Polish official came back on the line.

"I understand Vietnam's hesitation to pick a side regarding the South African issue but we also see the need to set up a stance publicly and privately. What Sweden is doing right now in South Africa is setting up the standard for future generations to come. Regarding ASEAN, would you care to tell me about the goals and agenda of ASEAN?"

"Indeed, it seems that when one gives Sweden an inch they take a mile. Something must be done, and the GA does not appear willing to do that something. But what can we do? I suppose we could sanction them, but Vietnam is far away. We do not have the connections necessary to harm them. Our military does not have the capacity or force projection to enforce anything that we would need to do. While the situation is unpleasent I dont think there is much that can be done."

"Our goals for ASEAN at this time are to use it to develop South East Asia to the point of being competitive with the rest of the world in terms of economics."
