"Mhh, in that case we have to pass, sadly. The S-300 you are offering does not match our standards, its a shame because we were considering a large order of them."
"Well, that's too bad. We will have to look for other alternatives on the market or continue to develop our own capabilities. We had good results in the past.
Well, commercially speaking I think we covered everything. We will submit the corresponding forms for the trade we arranged. Is there anything else you might want to discuss?"
"Ah, yes, before I forget. We are interested in sending some of our engineers over to Russia for them to learn to be able to give proper maintenance to the russian equipment Argentina currently operates. Would that be possible?"
"30 engineers from the Argentina Air Force and Navy. They would be trained in mantainance tasks and controls, including copies Of the handbooks and manuals from the constructors in order to be able to perform the work themselves.
“The cost will be a total of $4,500,000,000.00 due to the nature of the equipment. Sadly we cannot give out the hand book and maintence training for the S-300PMU2 however we will maintain the equipment ourselves to a high standard for a fee of $500,000,000.00 every two years”
