The Ambassador, who had just made his way to his accomodated hotel a few hours before, would receive the message and would attempt to join the Australian Prime Minister in her night out. He would text back confirming his interest in club-hopping. He would prepare himself from his hotel room and would make his way to the lobby while texting back.
"Ayyyyy niceee, we Portuguese love drinking, can I come? Where you at and where we goin? "
He would have just been outside the hotel and would wait for a taxi, taking in a whiff of the cold air, he would then look down and mutter to himself;
"Nothing wrong with having a little divertimento! Gotta make sure I ain't Bebado once I return."
He quips at himself and waited for a response from the minister.
It would have been almost noon back at Portugal, the Prime Minister would have finished meeting up with Alfredo and would make their way to the Airport. A few Portuguese Guards from the Intervention brigade would accompany them at their journey. The Royal Assembly would also inform the Australians that the Portuguese would have lightly armed guards, for general safety. The Minister and his associates would have eaten lunch at the airport itself and would board a TAP flight to Australia. They have calculated that it would last around 22 hours, and would try to arrive at Sydney as soon as possible.
"Never been to Australia before, what's it like Alfredo? If I recall correctly, you went to the country when you were young yes?"
"Well, very young sir, didn't quite recall what it was like, although it was indeed very hot, got sunburns all the time!"
"Good thing I didn't bring the kids."
Both would chuckle and would wait for their flight to depart from the airport.
