Dear Emperor of Indonesia, I am writing to you as a close friend and neighbour. Australia-Indonesia relations have been non-existent in recent years and we wish to change that. Indonesia is of the utmost priority to my government due to your proximity and importance to the region. I would like it if I could visit Jakarta to meet with yourself and other members of your government to discuss a range of trade, defence and economic opportunities.
