"If possible, we would like to station troops in Australia for training purposes, although the rapid restructuring of our armed forces has put our command in disarray as of late. Would it be possible for us to send a company's worth of men over in preparation for atleast a battalion or two in the future?"
"Yes, there was one more thing I wished to clarify before our meeting came to an end. I was wondering if the Australian government would be able to sell any of their fighter jets to us? We are requesting at the most a wing-worth of fighter jets in order to provide our pilots with top-of-the-line hardware to train with."
"You will have to wait a bit for that. We're currently in negotiations with the British to get our next generation of fighter jets, the F-35A. Once we receive the first batch of them we will retire our current F/A-18 Classic Hornets and sell them off to interested parties. I would hardly call them top of the line in modern warfare, but they are still very capable of getting a mission done. Australia doesn't produce any indigenous fighter jet."
"I understand, Prime Minister. In that case, I would simply ask to keep us in mind regarding a potential buy of the F-18's when the time comes. Other than that, I believe I have concluded everything I have to discuss." Vincent would smile and shake his hand once more. "These talks were most productive and I look forward to seeing the results."
"Very well, it was a pleasure to finally meet and great to get our Free Trade Agreement sorted." The Prime Minister would shake the King's hand and depart for the airport where the plane would take off bound for Brisbane.
