[Australia]: The Israel Airlift

With the growing amount of Australian citizens and other citizens who need to evacuate from Israel, a massive airlift was put into motion with the assistance of the Australian Government. The Government would pay Qantas to divert 12 Boeing 747s from their international fleet to run a constant route between Tel Aviv and Dubai, allowing people to come into Dubai and then safely board aircraft, including other Qantas aircraft, back to Australia or their home countries. The UAE Government would be notified of this. The following citizens would be allowed to board free of charge (funded by the Australian Government) and in order of priority:

1. Australian citizens and Israeli citizens with connections to Australia
2. New Zealand citizens
3. Citizens of the Pacific Islands
4. United States, Canadian, Swedish and British citizens
5. ASEAN citizens
6. All other citizens besides Turkish and Saudi Arabian citizens

The flight route between Tel Aviv and Dubai would take it through KM > LM > LL avoiding Saudi Arabia and Turkish airspace and the Mediterranean. It would fly straight out over Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, the Persian Gulf and then into Dubai. All passengers would be seated in Economy and elderly people, people with mobility issues and pregnant women or women with babies would be prioritsed for Business and First class seats. Australian Embassy staff from Jerusalem would be on the ground at Ben Gurion Airport to process people onto the aircraft and would also process non-Australian citizens to get visas to go to Australia. 3 Australian Federal Police officers would be on each flight to provide security in the volatile situation.

Shortly upon receiving notification of this effort, the Ministry of Interior would advise Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport to prioritise all commercial flights originating from Israel and Palestine. Qantas and the Australian Government would also be invited to use Abu Dhabi International Airport and Sharjah International Airport to reduce possible flight congestion at Dubai. In order to best assist, the Ministry of Interior would request that the Australian Government keep them informed of the progress and any updates of the operation.
