The two Brazilians accepted the water, drinking it, the Ambassador speaking "I do believe that "Lusophonic Organization of Free States, or LOFS" sounds quite nice." the Prince would nod, before speaking "Indeed, I believe that name to be the best, what about you, your majesty ?" The Ambassador nodded in agreedment to the Prince's opinion. The prince turned to look at the King, awaiting the response of the Portuguese's response with patience.
"Very well, we shall give time for the revised document to be sent here immediately."
Soon after, the minister would call for an assistant to get the documents as quickly as possible. The door would close, the sound echoing inside the magnificent meeting chamber. The sun's rays reflecting on the glasses of water. He the minister would wait a bit before breaking the ice. He would turn to the ambassador and asks in a friendly manner.
"Do you wish to stay for a few days or do you wish to return to Brazil as soon as possible?"
After getting an answer, the doors would be opened by the man who was sent out before. He would carry two white folders, each with markings of both Brazil and Portugal. He would bow before the two royals before handing one to the Brazilians
"I don't know how you ratify treaties, so we decided to just give you a document for Emperor Luiz Gastão de Orléans e Bragança himself."
The King would speak out smiling. He would take a sip before continuing.
"This seems to be a good end to the meeting. Unless you have anything to add my fellow guests, then we shall conclude our business here."
He adds as he looks at the Brazilians with great interest.
The Prince shook his head "I do believe this is all, we apologize for the lack of documents from our part, but we still thank you greatly for accepting into your humble home" the prince responded respectfully "I will make sure that my brother sees this" the prince put his hand out for the King to shake as he smiled"I once again thank you, and want you to know that you and your family are more than welcome in Brazil" the Ambassador shook hands with the Minister as he spoke "I believe I'll return to Brazil with his Highness, the Department of International Relations will probably wish for a report on how our meeting went".
The king would shake his hand reassuringly and would wave goodbye. Before that however, the Minister would speak out.
"Before you go..."
The Minister would pull out an envelope for the Brazilians to take home with.
"A document containing Portugal's products for export, as the treaty is yet to be ratified, we believe that this would be beneficial for the further discussion of the Trade Agreement as mentioned in Article 2. As a reminder, the actual ports of destination, products to be traded, and the interim of trading shall be discussed as soon as the documents are ratified."
Inside the document, the following products for export would be listed:
Vehicles
Electrical Machinery and Equipment
Mineral Fuel
Computers
and Plastics
Both the minister and the King would wave goodbye to their Brazilians as a couple of Portuguese personnel would kindly escort them to the convoy which was waiting outside. They would be notified that the convoy would be headed to the Ports of Lisbon for their return trip.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese Navy would yet again mobilize to accompany the Brazilian's ship. A couple of Patrol boats would notify the crew of the ship that they would provide escort until they were in international waters.
Police would yet again provide security for the incoming motorcade as both the Portuguese media and fellow citizens were quick to follow the visiting Brazilians, crowds would be seen along the roads displaying Portuguese and Brazilian Royal flags proudly.
