Minister Tang would reply.

”This is Minister Tang Jiaxuan of the People’s Republic of China. It is an honor to speak to you on the phone today Minister Ivanov, I have heard much about you though I’m sure you have heard very little about me but I can assure you that will change quite soon, much like China’s position on global affairs and affairs with Russia. Chiefly I’d like to apologize for the interaction between our defense representative and you own representative, he acted childish and has been reprimanded accordingly for his actions. I want to wipe the slate clean and discuss once more Russia-China relations. Just because there has been a shift in regime does not make Russia an advisary of China and truly I think our largest neighbor should also be our greatest ally.

First things first though Minister Ivanov, we need to discuss the… unfortunate arms sales to the Republic of Turkey. I, and the rest of the people’s congress apologize for the sale of weapons to the Turkish Government during the Arab War, it is an unforgivable action that was made by an incompetent and clearly stupid previous government. As you can see, the People’s congress has since removed all members of the previous government entirely, they are in essence politically and socially dead. The reason for the removal was in fact the sale of arms and their easy going attitude towards westernization of China and it’s national economy which wasn’t in line with the Vision for a prosperous China. We are willing to pay for all damages incurred by our sales and release to the international community what was sold so that an independent review of the previous government can be made and appropriate punishments given out. With this, China will also fully agree to the ban of all strategic, long range weapons that was brought up in the previous conversation. This applies to multinational defense companies such as Sparrow Industries who have clearly no right to be selling long range bombers to instable fascist governments. We are also going to withdrawal our draft letter to the Global Assembly to investigate all crimes that likely were not committed by the Russian Empire in the War Against Turkey.

All of this Minister, for a clean slate with Russia. I can’t tell you how much Chairman Hu desires to once again create a positive relationship with Russia and It’s people because together he believes that we can unlock the economic and militaristic potential of our two great nations. He is, of course, open to other suggestions in how China can repay our debt to the Russian Empire and if you have any suggestions please feel free to speak your mind.”

"Let's not forgot that our negative relations are purely one-sided, Minister. It is your government's inability to understand, acknowledge, and apologize for the mistakes and actions that China has taken in the past that has rendered us unable to advance towards something positive. The firing of all those involved in the sales of weapons to Turkey, however, is certainly a good start. I do believe that the ban of all strategic weapons such as ICBMs and long-rage weapons such as strategic bombers is still something that we should aspire to—regardless of our relations. Especially now that Sparrow Industries has refused to acknowledge our attempts at contacting them to discuss it.

There are many things that could be done to allow positive relations to thrive between our nations once again. However, we are no longer the Soviet Union nor the Russia of the early 90s. If you truly wish for these relations to last, lengthy discussions will have to be had. Perhaps, if you are willing, we could host a summit between our nations in Vladivostok?"
