Official Statement by United Republic of China

China is extremely sadden that third party nations have decided to intervene directly in the on going conflict between the Republic of Argentina and the French Republic, let us not forget, that there is clear evidence on the latter, engaging in a attack, similar to that of terrorist attack on the former nation territory. But we now see various nations, who formerly condemned actions like this, now fully supporting this behaviour taken part by France, the aggressor, by now actively helping this nation and its government. Which, in our own opinion, have soiled their reputation by taking these measures and breaking the status quo. This as now set a extremely worrying precedent for the future, as now third parties, now fully support and endorse attacks, akin to terror attack, on other nations soil.

Thank you.

Official Statement

The Kingdom of the Netherlands understands the different perspectives of the world. My government is willing to admit that we are intervening in this conflict, though I want to make it clear that this is a humanitarian intervention. This action was based on the fact that the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the French Republic share a border on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin or Sint Maarten as it is called in Dutch. The French-Argentinian War threatened the safety and security of our citizens and that of our neighbour, we can not sit and watch as the way of life of innocent civilians in this conflict was hanging in the balance. Therefore we took action, offering to temporarily take responsibly of their safety by form of a transfer of governance and sovereignty.

I would like to note that this government condemns the actions taken by the French government and their military forces which has led to this war. Furthermore, we send our condolences to the families which lost their loved ones.

However, that does not mean we will abandon our duty to uphold the rights and freedoms as stated in the Resolution for Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Therefore this government will do everything within our power to employ diplomacy and dialogue to defend the right to life, liberty and security of every person.

The Netherlands continues to advocate for global peace and will remain in contact with both sides to bring a resolution to this conflict.

What the Dutch fail to realize is that just a few weeks ago you and several other nations voted Serbia out of the GA, whilst many other nations were calling for invasion. Now, just a few weeks later you are helping prop up a government that, while did not actually execute the mission on the ground, certainly did its best to lie and cover-up what happened there. France then tried to blame the incident on Argentina and attempted to blackmail them.

You say you care about peace, but after the incident, not one member of Europe other than Ireland, even made a statement or mentioned what happened on the ground in Alexandria, but were so chomping at the bit, to go after Serbia just weeks ago.

You say you want peace but you are going to back a country so pathetic that they cannot even figure out a flight plan that will not invade another countries airspace? Whose to say they will not do it again? History has shown that they will, and you and other ISAF/European powers will continue to back them.

Nearly a year ago, another weak French government and a German one for added measure, attacked my embassy and held my diplomats for two months, yet my President was asked to come to the GA for "War Crimes" because my soldiers defended an embassy against attack?

Why aren't the French being prosecuted for war crimes? That is easy to answer. You want what is best for you. And what is best for you is to always back someone whom has gone against a non-ISAF allied party, which in this case happens to be Argentina.

So, please, end the non-sense about wanting peace. History has shown that you do not.

Several weeks ago the Netherlands presented an amendment to the Argentinian resolution on solving the Serbia-Kosovo dispute. Where the original resolution was clearly biased in favour of the Serbian government, our amendment aimed at maintaining the status quo and the peace until the territorial status of Kosovo could be determined on either a bilaterally or internationally.

The reason we didn't mention what happened on the ground is that we did not have the facts, it is government policy not to make decisions based on unconfirmed information. By analysing both the statement released by the Argentinian government and information from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs we were able to see the whole picture and the need to bring a resolution to this conflict before more families lose their loved ones.

The responsible individuals within the French government must be held accountable for their actions. Though that does not mean innocent civilians, not responsible for this conflict, are to suffer the threat of war in their homes.

If the Argentinian government wishes to bring their case for 'War Crimes' to court, then I fully support their course of action. Solving this conflict through dialogue is what the Netherlands is aiming for and brining a case to the the International Court of Justice is a form of dialogue.

The responsible individuals within the French government must be held accountable for their actions.

So, the French President is not responsible for deceiving the international community or for blackmailing the Argentinian government? But, yet you directly support him through your new treaty.

The Serbs lied to the international community as well, why aren't you taking hold of their provinces for "safe-keeping" until their war is over?

Oh, wait. That is right. Because your friends are the ones who were threatening to invade? And the Serbs allegedly shelled the Norwegian Embassy.

Fellow ISAF member. So you must intercede.

Argentinian base gets blown up? Support the French. Say Nothing. Do Nothing.

Brazilian Embassy overrun in Paris and Berlin. Say Nothing. Do Nothing. Prosecute Brazilian president for war crimes because soldiers defended an embassy under attack.

ISAF only gets involved when it is a direct threat to our alliance, Brazil was told.

France has just committed an act of terrorism or war against Argentina?

Your response?

Defend France with open and loving arms, so much so that you will help her protect her overseas colonies?

Your arguments for peace are a joke and your hypocrisy is as much on full display as the hookers in Amsterdam.

The Government of Canada transitioning to Australia would remind Brazil that the Netherlands are the only one being involved in a non-ISAF Operation. From what Canada/Australia understands, The Netherlands actions are not sanctioned by the ISAF alliance as a whole and they are acting solely independently. Canada/Australia would praise the move, not as a move to defend France "with open and loving arms" but as a move to stop Argentine Imperialism in its tracks, as it is clear given Argentina's history that it would try to gain some territory from this matter.

The Irish Government would voice its support for the sentiments expressed by China regarding the intervention of the Netherlands in the domestic affairs of a sovereign state and would call into question the existing ties on the part of the Netherlands to the ISAF as being a ISAF operation in everything but name and approval.
