Dear Minister Belkhadem,

Allow me to firstly convey the Greek People's friendship and solidarity towards the independent struggle of the People of Algeria. We too know your struggles well, and we have fought to make our nation sovereign and independent. The purpose of this missive is to convince you of our solidarity, and to discuss how our two governments can move forward in the future keeping in mind our mutual benefit.

The Greek People wish to establish trade lanes to El Djazaïr, and through the mutually beneficial act of trade bring our two peoples closer. Our country exports among other things pharmaceuticals, vegetables, fruits & nuts, and electrical machinery (including computers) at more than a reasonable price.

Should your government wish to add the People's Republic of Greece as one of its trade partners, I would be more than pleased to collaborate with you.

Dear Minister Belkhadem,

We are delighted to hear that the Algerian people stand ready to trade with the Greek people. A first step would be for the Algerian government to register its exports with the commercial exports registrar, after which we could further negotiate the trade balance between our two peoples. After we have a complete list of products that you're willing to trade, we will be in a better position to determine what we want to import.

Once the Algerian government has registered its desired products, and has secured some vessels with which to trade with, we can get down to work and hammer out trade lines proper.

From our side, we can already offer you our list of products and their associated tariffs. As you can see, the People's Republic of Greece charge extraordinarily reasonable prices - some of the lowest in the world for the same products.
