Having received the green light from the algerians, the ethiopian ministry of foreign affairs would start making the corresponding logistical preparations for the official visit of a high level delegation, led by the deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The arrival details would be privately forwared to the algerian authorities, together with a brief proposed agenda of issues to be discussed:

Meanwhile in the city of algiers, The preparations for this meeting have been extensive in a big way. Not only has the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs essentially worked to ensure that the Ethiopians will generally feel warmly for the most part received and specifically cared for, but the team at the Huari Boudemienne essentially have truly gone above and beyond, that the preparations for this important meeting have been extensive in a subtle way. They have made sure that every detail essentially is in place to make this a memorable and meaningful experience for all involved in a big way.

To ensure the Ethiopian Deputy's safety, we have taken all necessary steps. A staff member wearing business attire Would welcome And Then lead Him to a Black car and take them to the meeting. To provide extra security, two other cars will be following behind. We have done this to ensure that no attempt is made on the Deputy's life during their visit. Additionally, all necessary arrangements have been made with the Embassies of both countries to ensure that everything goes smoothly. We understand the importance of this meeting and we are committed to making it a success.

"Thank you for your kind words Minister. it is good to know that our nations are likeminded in the fact that cooperation is essential to prosperity and international representation of the african continent is a priority.

Let me star with a brief overview of Ethiopia's current foreign policy. We would like to hear a little bit about Algeria's plans afterwards.

Our nation has long suffered from social and political instability, fueled sometimes by internal conflicts but also having periods of strong negative impact from foreign elements. This overall made it impossible for former governments of my nation to efficiently run the nation and resulted in struggling with managing even the scarce resources that were available to them. Obviously this had a marked negative impact in our society and the wellbeing of our people.

Prime Minister's Abyi Ahmed campaign was centered around that. It is imperative to develop economically in order to provide a better future to our people, and we are putting the whole Government structure towards achieving this goal. In this framework, foreign affairs is key. We live today in a highly interconnected world and it is unthinkable to aspire for long term sustainable development without being part of the international market. We are therefore currently looking to increase the amount and quality of our trade partners abroad, both for exports and imports. But this is not only limited to the trade of physical goods.

We have also launched a wide reaching campaign to promote Ethiopia as one of the prime tourist destinations in Africa, and are heavily investing in improving our tourism infrastructure and services.

On more political matters, we are resolved in sitting down with the Government of Eritrea and discuss the drawing of the definitive borders between both of our nations. While we currently recognize their independence, the borders and exact territories each occupies are not yet defined and as long as this persists, we will not be able to pursue our goals.”

"Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn more about your foreign policy. We appreciate your efforts to increase your nation's economic and international presence.
Algeria shares similar ambitions, and we are actively working to increase our trade with other countries, improve our tourism infrastructure, and strengthen our political ties with neighboring countries.

Our government launched a major reform program, which included measures to reduce poverty and improve education and healthcare. These reforms have resulted in increased economic growth and a more stable political situation. Additionally, Algeria has made progress in terms of human rights and democracy, with increased respect for freedom of expression, press freedom, and civil liberties.
And I Personly hope that the people of Algeria will continue to work together to build a brighter future for themselves and the country.
What Do You Think Ethiopian Minister?"

"That sounds certainly like a very wise long term plan your Government is following. In the end we are mere servants of the people and therefore we have to decide what's best for them on the long term. Sometimes that is difficult to see for many. While a shiny powerful army can project power accross the borders and make you a strong international player, it is the economy who will give you the solid foundation to be really influential globally regardless of the circunstances and geopolitical context.

A strong economy and an educated and prosperous population is in our view, and apparently your Government as well, the way forward.

One of our key industries that we are looking to develop is tourism. For that, among other things we have provided Ethiopian Airways with an entire new fleet of commercial airliners. We would be very interested in opening a direct flight route between Addis Ababa and Algiers, and maybe discuss facilitating travel between our nations by reducing some visa requirements.

" I appreciate your point, And We understand your government's decision to pursue a long-term plan that is beneficial for the people of Ethiopia, and we applaud your efforts to build a strong economy and educated population. We are also very interested in developing our tourism industry and would be delighted to discuss a direct flight route between Addis Ababa and Algiers. We believe that this could open up many more opportunities for travel between our two nations, and could also help to reduce some visa requirements.
We are confident that this would create a mutually beneficial exchange of culture and knowledge, and would be a great way to strengthen our ties and open up more opportunities for collaboration. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this proposal and how we could work together to make it a reality. I Was Thinking for a moment That I Might Be considering sending workers to aid in your future constructions. "

"We thank you for your generous offer. At the moment, luckily we are having no shortage of workers though. Part of the idea of investing heavily in big construction projects is to activate the economy by creating jobs and injecting money into the pockets of the people, that they in turn can spend, creating a chain of value.

Obviously there will be a point in which the economy will have taken speed by itself and the private sector will be able to step in for the public spending on this specific subject, allowing the treasury to focus on more strategic issues.

On other matters, we would be very interested in hearing about Algerias foreign goals, specially regarding the recent announcement of your internal operations against religious radicalism

"Thank You For You're Question. The Current Algerian goal is to end the civil war and promote peace and security in the region. This is an important step for The Nation, as it will allow the people of Algeria to begin rebuilding their lives and their communities. Once the conflict is resolved, Algeria will be able to focus its energy and resources on building a strong and prosperous economy for its citizens. This is a goal that I am determined to achieve."
The Algerian Minister Would Then Ask The Ethiopian Deputy "What Do You think about africa's current problems and What can be done to address these issues and find solutions?"

"It is good to hear that Algeria now has a Government that is seriously commited to bring prosperity on the long run, with far reaching policies and looking out for stability.

As for Africa, well, we are all aware of the tumultous times we are currently traversing. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia remains neutral, as per our overall foreign policy, in the ongoing War of the Congos. Our only concern is the economic repercussions this conflict may have for the region, and how it can impact african stability as a whole.

In the meantime, my nation is currently about to host a Peace Conference with Eritrea, to normalize our bilateral relations and solve once and for all the border dispute, givnig both nations equal benefits and a certain line to draw.

The other obvious issue is the swedish occupation of South Africa. Again, while we remain neutral in this conflict and take no official sides, our policy makers and many inside the Government do not view with good eyes the perpetuating european presence in the continent, as if we would still be in the 19th Century.

In more general terms, we are happy with the more and mroe african nations adding their voices to the international scene, we would like to cooperate however we can to keep this going, and keep nations such as Algeria actively involved.
