Mr President,
Over the recent days we have been receiving reports that diplomatic missions within the city of Baghdad are being surrounded by the armed forces of the Iraqi Republic. If these reports are true then we call upon your government to immediately reverse this policy as it constitutes as a severe breach of foundation on which international diplomatic relations are built upon.
We call upon your government to respect both the Charter of the Global Assembly and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations by recognising the diplomatic immunity of the personnel of those diplomatic missions and allowing them to freely return to their home nations.
