The following letter has been sent to all African leaders.
"Dear (Head of Government)
In recent years, we have seen the African continent fall behind in terms of military and global projection on the international stage. Many governments have collapsed and failed on our great continent. Myself and my government believe that it is time we put an end to our isolationism on this continent and we would like to hold the largest gathering of African leaders in decades. We hope to discuss the formation of trade routes, air travel, mutual cooperation, free trade agreements, security cooperation and common goals on the environment, tourism, development and research. We would also like to test the waters for a possible formation of an African Union to rival the European Trade Organisation for trade and diplomatic power.
As such, I would like to invite you to a conference which will take place at the end of this month (28th) at Ambohitsorohitra Palace. Hotels can be booked for you to arrive earlier if so required or you may arrive on the day. Security will be provided by Madagascar security forces for the event. Please let me know if you are able to attend. Alternatively, you may attend via video conference technology if so required.
Many thanks,
Bernard Samuel
Prime Minister of Madagascar.
