Korean State Visit to Italy

"Within the Mediterranean Italy is looking forward to working together with European countries bordering the Mediterranean such as Spain, but also countries with a larger Naval presence abroad such as the United Kingdom. As for the Gulf of Aden we are looking forward to working together with countries in the region, but also on a larger scale with countries that have larger navies and a vested interest in ensuring safety on the route so we can work together to create a patrolling presence here.

As for the import, the goods that we are importing are complementary to our current economy. We are importing two natural resources that we do not have access to and electronics that are not produced in Italy, so this import will not affect any current local industries or small business."

After the Italian President had spoken, the Korean President would respond
President Kim: "The Korean Healthcare services under my administration underwent a number of reform that brought much needed clinical care to rural areas and brought Korea into a single-payer healthcare system. These steps are supported by domestic efforts by our producers but also with European partners bringing in high quality trading goods and resources. The Korean healthcare system will continue to, under my administration, receive any and all equipment to be more efficient, effective, and maintain a high level of efficacy amongst the public. Being #2 in Asia in healthcare levels is no longer acceptable and we will push towards the #1 rank."

The Press member would be satisfied with the answers from both Presidents, he would write them all down on his note pad and wait for more people to ask questions to both President, for him, it seemed that both Presidents knew how to answer though questions and knew exactly what they were doing with this agreement, even if separated by thousands of miles Italy and Korea could become staunch friends.

The Korean President would thank his Italian Counterpart as the president session closed. Both Leaders returning to the private residence of the Italian President for a small chat, attempting to move away from politics. The Korean President giving the Italian President a personal gift, a small little golden turtle which for Koreans symbolized a long and good life, and knowledge of the future. The President would be given nine golden turtles, a representative of a lucky number in Korean culture. The Korean President would very much appreciate the hospitality shown by the Italians and hoped to return it one day during an official visit to Korea. After spending the evening in Rome, he would take an escorted motorcade to the Vatican City and speak with the Pope privately with his wife. The nature of the visit was mostly to simply be introduced and be acquainted with the Pope. Both would pray for the wellbeing of the Ukrainian President, and President Kim was truly moved by the Pope's statement, "Let your Spirit descend and change the image of the land … this land" made during the anti-communist movement of Poland, and revigored his spirit to bring change to Korea. The three had a small lunch before a photoshoot was taken. After completing the visit, the Korean President would be immediately escorted to the airport in Rome where his plane was already fueled and waiting. The Korean Government had asked the President to return immediately, however, the President had other plans. Intending stop over Madrid before returning to Seoul, to visit the strong and powerful Spanish Republic, a country of kind words and stronger values.
