In a breach of normal protocol, King Enoch himself was waiting at the airport himself for the arrival of the Emperor of Germany and the King of Italy. He was wearing a suit without any special medals or adornments on it. He would likely be entirely unnoticeable if it wasn't for his incredible height and the myriad of Royal Police sniffing around the airport. While sitting in the terminal, he was trying to catch up on a book he had started a few weeks ago. He effortlessly swept through the pages as he awaited the arrival of the other monarchs. The sun would soon be setting, and he hoped they would have a good time together. Outside of the King of The Netherlands, he hasn't had much interaction with other European Royals. It was currently chilly in Oslo, at least from the perspective of most Europeans, but to Enoch this was a heat-wave compared to the -50C temperatures they had recently suffered from. He was confident that this warmer weather would permit them to do a bit more exploring and hopefully prevent the men just sitting around in their jackets all night.

The Kaiser, in a bespoke suit, stepped out from the terminal, having come with a security detail of 10 men from the Lehr Infantry Regiment in plainclothes. While they did carry sidearms in concealed holsters, an encrypted message had been sent beforehand that it was only for self-defence of the Kaiser, and that it was the only equipment that they would leave heavier PDWs back at home. As soon as he stepped out of the terminal and into King Enoch's view, it was clear that this incident had left him ragged. Bags under his eyes were very prevalent, and he did not smile as he stepped out, something strange considering his generally cheery attitude, even in the worst of times.

"King Enoch!" he greeted ecstatically, walking over with a newly-found smile and a skip in his step. He extended his hand to the King as the plainclothes guards of the German Emperor greeted and made conversation with the Royal Police.

"How are you, your Majesty?"

The Re D'Italia, wearing his standard military dress blacks, (complete with his ceremonial saber), would arrive at the terminal via a commercial flight. The other monarchs would likely note his rather empty right breast, as unlike many heads of state, he's elected only to wear ribbons and medals for awards he's earned. He'd have a single diplomatic aide with him, and no security, as he had traveled to Norway under an alias, and had posed as a simple Italian Soldier, working some attache job for a diplomat. Walking into the terminal with a determined and military bearing, he tried his best to keep his stoic, polite smile, even though recent events involving Brazil were wearing away at his patience. In his arm he held an overcoat to wear over his dress blacks, should the weather require it.

"Your Majesty, Your Imperial Majesty, I bid you all a good day, how are you both?" He gave each King a polite bow of the head and offered both of them a firm handshake, before fixing his color and straightening his slightly crooked armored warfare badge.

"Your Majesty," the Kaiser greeted, grasping the Re D'Italia's hand firmly and giving a tired, but still warm grin as he did.

"It has been a while. Last I saw you, it was at my coronation."

When the Kaiser's aircraft landed, Enoch stood up and waited for him to walk inside. The encrypted message had been received and the Royal Police sent a secure communication back stating that would be acceptable, however there were some places (such as the Royal Palace) where only the Royal Police and King's Guard could carry firearms. This wasn't like to be a problem, though, since it was the most secure building in all of Norway. The Royal Police were of course armed and dressed in dark suits.

They were situated in a private area so that civilians wouldn't notice them or spread the word that the Emperor of Germany was in Norway. The first thing the Kaiser would notice about Enoch was that he was an incredible six feet and seven inches tall. As the Kaiser approached him, the young king bowed respectfully since he was technically higher in the royal hierarchy than him. "Your Imperial Majesty, it's an honor to have you here in the Kingdom of Norway. Thank you for coming." Enoch then shook the Kaiser's hand and went back to treating him like a normal man again.

"I'm doing very well. Things were bad with the winter and all but.. they're getting much better, thank God. I imagine you've had a long week. We should have a good time tonight, don't worry. I have some things planned. King Vincenzo should be here shortly, I believe." Enoch wanted to tell the Kaiser how terrible he looked, but he felt they weren't close enough for him to be that honest yet.

Enoch returned the bow to his Italian counterpart and shook his hand, "Your Majesty, it's very nice to meet you. I was told that you're always well-dressed, they obviously didn't lie. You look sharp."

Enoch then addressed them both as the Royal Police met the Kaiser's guards, "I hate airports, so we'll get out of here and head to the city. Please, feel free to call me Enoch. Please, follow me." Some select staff from the palace were there and grabbed whatever bags or things the Emperor and the King had taken with them. The Royal Police escorted the three monarchs to a low-profile motorcade. No civilians saw the trio or the German guards. They quietly boarded, and were on the way to Oslo.

"I'm not sure about either of you, but I'm frankly sick of palaces.. I have a little place in Oslo that sometimes serves as a getaway. We can get more comfortable there," Enoch explained to them as they rode in the comfortable SUV.

"Part of the reason I wanted the three of us to meet is because we're all from culturally, linguistically, and politically unique countries that have historically not had a lot in common. I think it's these unlikely combinations of countries that can really do great things when we put our minds to it... I was reading in Aftenposten the other day about these 'Yellow-vest Protests'. Are they an issue in Germany or Italy?"

Soon they crossed into Oslo city limits. The SUV passed by the Royal Palace, which they later would all spend the night in, but for now they were heading to Enoch's hideaway as-promised.

"Well, as far as I am aware, the Yellow Vest movement isn't that much of a problem in Germany as, say, France. Nor is it as numerous," the Kaiser stated, "I would consider them like the American 'liberal': uneducated, young, impulsive, spoiled children who've never worked a hard day in their lives."

"There's no sign of it in Norway. I'd like to think that we're better than that here... It does seem that those who don't work hard tend to be the ones that cause the most trouble," Enoch agreed. The vehicle discreetly pulled up to a small townhouse which looked modest but nice on the outside. Some Royal Police, all of which were in dark suits, got of the vehicles and escorted the monarchs inside. Afterwards, they guarded the outside. A company of the King's Guard were on standby for an emergency deployment, as were an additional fifty Royal Police Officers. Enoch guided the men inside to what turned out to be a total man-cave... well, at least what a man-cave for a King would look like.

They walked up a short flight of stairs to a door which Enoch had to type in a code on a keypad and then insert a physical key to open the reinforced door. Inside was a small kitchen, a separate bar, a living room with a pool table on the side, and a private balcony with a large hot-tub.

"I thought we could relax here for a while, and get to know each other. I'm not much of a chef but I know how to cook salmon and steak. After that we could smoke cigars and have a few drinks, if you two fancy that. Please feel free to call me Enoch... Make yourselves at home," Enoch said as he went into the kitchen and poured each of them either a glass of scotch or wine. The living room had plenty of places to sit, along with a muted television that was playing the evening news.

"King Vincenzo, do you have an opinion on the ISAF? There's some people in my government that think Norway should join it. Do either of you have an opinion on the organization?"

"Well, if you would like, I can cook make some Weiner Schnitzel for you Enoch," the Kaiser offered as he took a rather apprehensive sip of his wine, his face scrunching in reflex, as he did not regularly drink. "I spent some time in Bavaria and Austria learning how to cook some traditional dishes, and while Weiner Schnitzel isn't the most exotic of local cuisine, I can say that my family enjoys it when I cook it for them." Looking around the room as Georg waited for Enoch's answer, he started to relax, the stress from the past few days having been incredibly stressful on him. With relaxation like this, Georg would be in better sorts in no time.

"That being said," the Kaiser began to answer, stress already starting to creep back up his neck, "I am not a fan of the ISAF. They are either too ineffective or too overbearing. I would say that you shouldn't join it and, instead, seek out an alternative. Perhaps an alliance with the Swedes instead?"

"You know," Enoch said in response, "I've been to a German restaurant once when I was a kid, but I don't remember what I had. I think I've seen some pictures of schnitzel before and it looks amazing. We have just about anything you can imagine in the fridge and the spice-rack. I'd be happy for you to cook alongside me," Enoch said, motioning for him to come over. Enoch took off his coat and tie and put on an apron as he fired up the stove.

"It's not entirely up to me what Norway does... But I'll take that into consideration. My government has tremendous respect for the Dutch, and appreciation for the British as well. The Americans however... sometimes I feel they've given us the cold shoulder, but I've been told that the Obama Administration just isn't known for it's diplomatic corps. What about you, King Vincenzo, what do you think of ISAF?"

Enoch sipped on his whiskey as he started preparing the food.

The Italian King sipped from a glass of ale, contemplating his answer to the question, as well as the to the other statements.

"I do enjoy some of the food of my Austrian brethren, sometimes as much as I do that of Italy." The king kept his stoic, relaxed look on his face, even if the recent events surrounding the world were about to drive him up a wall.

"To my knowledge, there is no strong Italian Yellow-Vest movement, except maybe some solidarity demonstrations. Certainly nothing to the level of France, or even Germany. I find much of what's going in France to be rank and useless. Political violence is seldom an acceptable form of Protest, and I wish the French would finally understand this after their 5th Republic is beginning to fail."

He'd take another sip of his ale before continuing, "I don't have much of an opinion on ISAF either way. Should nations wish to bind together in a military pact, then I certainly think they have that right, and even that they should if it will bolster the peace their citizens enjoy."

Upon Enoch's request, the Kaiser made his way over to the kitchen, already having a good idea on how to cook some good Wiener schnitzel for his fellow monarchs.

"Now, I absolutely believe it's important to have a political opinion on something as important as ISAF. It means that you have the authority to weigh in on a situation from your own opinion. It is important that our people don't see us as idols, but as equals, in that sense." Georg proceeded to then put down the glass of wine he had on the counter, and proceeded to search for any veal, if there was any, so that he could start the dish, already having brought out a cutting board and put on a spare apron.
