Dear Mr President, First of all, Poland would like to offer it's congratulations to the recent reelection of your president Yoweri Museveni. Democracy and the power of the people is something the Poland holds dear to its heart and we are glad to see that a nation such as Uganda exists within the richest continent on the planet, one that has seen such strife and hardship. We are glad to see a nation attempting bring hope to its people. We also hope this communication finds you in good health. As for the primary reason for sending his communication, we are interested in sending a delegation to Kampala to discuss diplomatic ties between Uganda and Poland in an effort to help wash away past colonial transgressions committed against the Ugandan people, and the People of Africa. I am currently stationed in the Empire of the Congo but I can have a detail from Warsaw ready to depart whenever you provide a date for the meeting. |
Sincerely, Ambassador Pietr Zielenski Polish Foreign Ministry - Africa and the Middle East Division |
