| PROJECT INFORMATION | The headquarters for the MPS is located Eastern Changan Avenue, Beijing and is part of the downtown district. The building handles all duties of the MPS(Ministry of Public Security) Domestic Intelligence unit including administration and some high level detection centers. The MPS is a branch of the MSS but exceedingly larger with office centers in the building capable of housing up to 2000 agents that exclusively handle domestic intelligence. The Primary duties are to ensure there are no counter revolutionary activities within mainland China and prevent foreign espionage operations by guarding cyberspace and actual physical activity within China. The building is under constant 24/7 surveillance with 360 degree view CCTV monitoring all sides of the building under the watch of at least ten surveillance agents at all times. The building is surrounded by an secure electric fence that is behind a vast array of greenery and landscaping for the building which doubles as a preventive measure against vehicle attacks as it distances the building from the roadway. Raisable bollards are also active at all entrances to prevent potential car bomb attacks. Other security features are also active and the building has bunkers capable of withstanding an indirect nuclear attack and continue to function as a command center. |
