| PROJECT INFORMATION | The CR-10 or Canhão Rápido, is a rifled autocannon capable of firing 30mm rounds roughly 300 rounds per minute. The Autocannon is designed to be easily fitted into a turret, with a remote fire-control system, automatic tracking, and stabilization. The CR-30 is also planned to be easily installed on all branches of the military, including naval and aerial designs. The CR-30 would be capable of firing AP-I and HE-I 30mm rounds. The Portuguese Military plans to install the CR-30 on the jointly-developed VBCI-400 IFV. |
