| PROJECT INFORMATION | Pursuant to Executive Order 23-11, the Secretary of Air Force has filed the proper paperwork and taken the appropriate actions to restore Loring Air Force Base to the way it was before it was closed in 1994. All former lands owned by the Air Force in this area were returned to the Navy and the base would have security measures as before. All infrastructure and equipment would be restored to as it was before the base was mothballed and closed. |
