He would pause. Pondering.

"Independent worm? Was it a worm that was implanted on Romanian Brains when you dropped the shackles of the Soviet Union? Reason? There is no reasoning to subjugate another nation, just because you don't consider them a separate state. I'm sorry but this rhetoric those not bode well for the security of the continent. Tell me, if Moldova refuses to diplomatically be absorbed. What will Romania do."

"If it comes to that we use military action to swiftly crush armed resistance and then plant a democratic Governor in control of Moldova. While the Commanders position is for life, the rest of our country runs as any other democracy. We will soothe the bristling civilians. They will accept their new place among their brothers."
