I am the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Surakiart Sathirathai. I am opening this communication under the NIA network to the country that Thailand considers as friendly. We have decided to share the information about the hostilities between Thailand and Laos, our neighboring country. We have recently found that the law enforcement authority of Laos has violated the human rights of our citizens on the 3rd of May and have detained five of our citizens at their police station for ten days. The Lao SWAT has also bombed the private vehicle, their property, with dynamite on the same day. So, we undertook the investigation. The victim established that the plainclothes police officer had tried to force him to tell that he was involved with the terrorist attack in the interrogation room. The officer questioned him, and the victim had answered with anxiety because he had lost his vehicle and got arrested. It made the officer furious. The officer brought out the metal baton, hitting the table to make a loud noise before smashing it at the victim's thigh. He was lucky that he had martial art training in the past and successfully took down the officer, but the SWAT quickly shot 20 rounds of rubber bullets at the victim in the close distance. They eventually got released after ten days. The people in Thailand bring this matter into the public debate throughout the country, saying that the government has to take action to protect its citizen. The Member of Parliament has brought this controversy into the parliament session to find a solution, and it has spiked another debate. We have concluded on the confrontational in the consensus. The Parliament has voted on the agreement on the declaration of war against the government of Laos. It will become effective immediately after its publication. The document has specified that this war will overthrow and retake the government of Laos into Thailand. We will commence the offensive soon, and we suggest you inform your citizens in both Thailand and Laos to be aware of the situation. We can ensure that the armed forces will try to target only the military, and we will wage war with the principle that those who are not involved should not be enemies.
Best Regard
Surakiart Sathirathai
Minister of Foreign Affairs.
