WELCOME INVESTORS TO THE WORLD'S FIRST INTERNATIONALLY ORGANIZED SPORTS ORGANIZATION WHO WE ARE ▀ The International Sports Association ("ISA") is a parent organization that will oversee numerous sporting leagues across the globe, including soccer, baseball, basketball, horse racing, stock car racing, and more! The ISA will ensure fair, competitive leagues for athletes across the world. We cater to the ultra-elite in each of our respective sports. Winners will be showered in glory and richly rewarded. OUR MODEL ▀ Our model is simple. Teams will register with the respective subsidiary sports organization paying an entry fee to compete. All entry fees will be combined to form the winning pot to be awarded at the end of the competition. For those who do not seek to compete, numerous betting options will be available. The ISA will earn the bulk of its funding from the administrative fees associated with organizing and running the sports leagues, as well as from advertisement and sponsorship deals within the league. THE OPPORTUNITY ▀ Investors have many opportunities in the world of sport to reap large profits. Investors may seek to invest in the ISA or one of its subsidiaries and become a profit sharing partner. However, the way most will likely become involved in through purchasing, owning, and managing a team in one of our leagues. Championship team winners earn the winner's pot at the end of a season. League victories will grant the highest yields for profits. However, the economic rewards of hosting and managing a team within your home countries are largely independent of on field victories. As teams play games, their skill levels will improve. More skill is gained from winning games. The ultimate league style will be determined based on the number of registered teams.
We invite teams to create their own logos or submit a request for a logo design from the league. Team logos may be generated for $5,000,000 fee.

OOC: I will use a scorinator to determine the results of all competitions. I will not personally participate to avoid conflicts of interest. For those of you unfamiliar with scorinators, they are programs designed for rp to generate results. I will post the results as I get them. Note that good role-play posts for the actions of your competitors in the competition will yield slight statistical bonuses. This is to encourage quality role play. I would imagine using national productions to build new stadiums and the like would likely improve your nation's economy and I highly suggest we work together to build some facilities. I can design logos for you and your team, I also encourage you to look for other IC marketing firms here that offer these services. Direct investment into the leagues is currently frozen pending questions to the staff about how it works, but I will soon offer direct investment opportunities to all to buy board seats on the ISA as well as the subsidiary organizations. The administrative fees collected will form the profits of the companies. At the end of tournaments or races, profits will be shared among investors. Finally, I apologize for my use of "Soccer." I am an American and when I made the logo I didn't think to use Football. I cannot edit the logo I created in the program. I will work with this for now pending a future rework of the logo. |
