From: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Union Defense Forces,
Encrypted & Top Secret
Subject: Dutch-Emirati Relations
Minister Albronda,
Greetings to you and the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands from the United Arab Emirates! Let me start by saying that I hope the Kingdom of the Netherlands isn't to adversely affected by the unusually cold temperatures and harsh winter weather this year. Please know that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) stands ready to rush emergency oil and gas supplies to the Netherlands, should the Dutch people require additional oil and gas for heating, power generation, transportation, etc, etc. So please don't hesitate to request our help when it comes to providing energy to power your nation through this dramatically cold winter, as I'll be more than happy to establish an emergency trade route to the Netherlands at once.
I've also contact you because the UAE wishes to establish much closer diplomatic, commercial, industrial, and military ties with the Netherlands. For decades the United Arab Emirates has been an ally of the West, in particular Western Europe, and both the UAE and Western Europe has benefited from this arrangement greatly. Now as we are decades on from when my father first allied the UAE with the West, radically transforming the UAE into the most modern nation within the Middle East, we now feel the time is right to move our partnership with Western Europe from a tactical partnership to a deeper strategic partnership. While the UAE's economy is rapidly diversifying from one heavily reliant on the extraction of fossil fuels, to a global leader in tourism and transportation, while also being the leading Middle Eastern nation in commercial banking, financial services, light and heavy industry, electronics, and cutting edge R&D, we feel that through greater partnership with nations like the Netherlands the UAE can be further transformed into one of the world's leading economies.
To discuss this opportunity for both of our nations and a range of other subjects further, I would like to begin a correspondence with you and once the terrible winter weather lifts over Northern Europe, I would like to invite you to meet with me here in Abu Dhabi in order to continue our conversation in person. Should you accept, I would also like to encourage you to invite Dutch business leaders with you to Abu Dhabi, as I will likewise invite a range of Emirati businessmen, ministers, and fellow Emirati Royals to the meeting, as I feel a roundtable discussion between eminent members of both of our nations would bare much fruit for both of our nations.
In the meantime while we are waiting for the weather to clear over Northern Europe, the UAE would like to enter into negotiations for Dutch desalinisation plants to be constructed within the UAE, potential Dutch civil and military sales to the UAE, while the UAE would also like to make several offers to the Netherlands across a broad range of topics.
Sincerely,
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Union Defense Forces,
@Dutchy
