Dear Prince Vincenzo Canali, As you may be aware, Australia has the 10th largest Italian-descendant population in the world and the State of Victoria has the most within Australia, including a very large Italian-born population which is twice the size of New South Wales'. The City of Melbourne has been shaped by Italian-Australians in its world-renowned coffee and alfresco dining culture and much loved icons such as Franco Cozzo (I'll make this clearer in the attachment). As Premier of Victoria, I would like to invite you to the State of Victoria in what we hope would be to great fanfare. It will be a much needed morale boost to the Italian population of Victoria who have seen many social and economic issues rip through their community. I would also like to discuss trade and economic opportunities with the possibility of opening up a Victorian international trade and investment office in Italy. I look forward to hearing from you. Having docked at Monaco and enjoying much of the services there, the last thing that Canali wanted to do was travel further. However, such an invitation was not to be missed. Upon saying goodbye to their new Australian friends at Monaco, Prince Canali and Princess Luna Genovese would return back to Italy and board a flight to return home. A letter would be sent in the meantime to the State of Victoria with urgency describing the acceptance of the invitation and the details of the arrival party.
