Greetings,

I would like to officially open relations between Vietnam and Hungary as our country has stabilized with a new permanent government. I would like to establish a trade route between our two countries as a part of this. Vietnam can provide for exports Electrical machinery, Footwear, Computers, Textiles, and Furniture at this time. I would also like to state that should the need arise Vietnam is willing to provide relief aid should the winter situation in Europe become any worse.

Best wishes

From:

Your trade proposal is intriguing; primarily, we are interested in footwear and furniture. We, on the other hand, export:
1. Electrical machinery and equipment
2. Pharmaceuticals
3. Mineral fuels
4. Organic chemicals
5. Foodstuffs
I hope some of these items on this list peak your interest.

Your offer of aid and support during this time is very thoughtful and much appreciated. Hungary is lucky enough to have escaped the worst of it unlike our European friends, and what poor weather we do receive is perfectly manageable. So we would kindly decline your offer, simply because it is not needed.

Yours sincerely,

Janos Martonyi

Dear Mr Pham

Great news. We would like to import furniture and textiles, in exchange for the pharmaceuticals and mineral fuels.

On our side, we would have the goods depart and arrive at the Port of Zadar in Croatia. The transit of the goods from the Hungarian border to Zadar will be handled by us.

Yours sincerely,

Janos Martonyi

Very good, and how often would you like the goods to be deliveries? We would like for you to deliver yours on a monthly basis due to the distances involved.
