Official Statement

In light of recent events regarding the sovereignty dispute between The Republic of Serbia and Kosovo-Metohija, the Foreign Office of The Republic of Ireland would take note of the provocative nature of Vietnam's actions in the Global Assembly and would authorize the immediate recall of its diplomatic personel from Hanoi within a period of 42 hours. Irish nationals are advised to depart from Vietnam as soon as possible, furthermore Irish nationals are advised to avoid travelling to Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Government shall be given a maximum of 42 hours to withdraw it's diplomatic personel from Dublin along with those in other localities as far as consulates are concerned. If the personnel in question are not withdrawn in the specified time limit the Garda Síochána will be dispatched to speed up their departure.

The Republic of Ireland has no room for warmongers on it's soil who advocate for the destabilization of the Balkans and by consequence of this, war.

While there is no actual diplomatic mission of the Republic of Vietnam to Ireland, the Vietnamese government would look at this issue with regret and would recall any diplomatic personnel who may be on vacation to Ireland. Nationals would be allowed to traverse however they wish to go at will. The Vietnamese government would promise the safe passage of any Irish nationals or diplomatic personnel who wish to leave Vietnam and the expedition of exit procedures.

The Irish Government would thank Vietnam for allowing the safe passage of Irish Nationals wishing to on their own accord return to Èire. The favour would be returned in kind with regard to Vietnamese diplomatic personnel and nationals wishing to exit the country.

In Hanoi, Irish diplomatic personnel would receive the message from their government to begin their departure from Vietnam accordingly. All documents in the embassy would be put to flame, the computers smashed and their harddives wiped, classified documents would be placed in 2 suitcases. After everyone, the building several employees would be given cans of gasoline with orders to douse the building in petrol and some matches....up in smoke it went.

Brazilian Representative to the GA Juan Valdez would hear of the Canadian response and be somewhat puzzled by it.

"Pain in the ass? It seems Canada enjoys playing the part of the tragic saviour, ingratiating herself into situations like in Ireland and in Kosovo. And you do so repeatedly, then why complain?

Just as at the GA when you admonished some GA members for acting childishly, but when confronted about whom was acting irresponsibly, you meekly replied,

"It is not my my job."

"But you felt compelled to bring it up without substantiating any facts, or quoting remarks from fellow GA members to back up your claim.

Instead of being a pain in the ass, you and your fellow cohorts like Vietnam are mere flies on the ass of a water buffalo that needs to slapped every few seconds now and then to let them know their true place in this world. Fighting for the muck on the asses of giants."

Interestingly enough, as Representative Juan Valdez/Veldez had returned to his office during the General Assembly talks and has spoken about not "return[ing until] Argentina's resolution will finally be voted upon", he would simply be alone in his office having a tearful rage about both Vietnam, Canada, rear ends, and a species of animals that is native to Southeast Asia. Through the thin doors of his wooden office and walls, General Assembly staff would be able to hear his thundering anger, almost akin to the scene from the infamous film Downfall that has since been parodied for the eerily similar rage that Hitler took in his bunker.

Word would quickly spread around the General Assembly with extensive warping of the tale and content of Representative Valdez's speech. One thing was similar throughout all the tales that were spread. Representative Valdez had been screaming at himself throughout the room. Perhaps he was rehearsing a future speech that he would unveil in the General Assembly. Perhaps he was letting out steam. Perhaps he was merely roleplaying and having a poor aide serve as an emotional punching bag.

At a press conference during one of the recesses, the Honorable Linh Mach, Head Representative of the Vietnamese Mission to the General Assembly would say, "Well, it's unfortunate we have individuals like this representing honorable countries such as Brazil. Perhaps he's a bit mentally unstable, or perhaps he's simply a passionate person at heart. Obviously, we can consider this reflective of his effectiveness as a politician and reflective of the nepotism that is currently rampant in Brazil compared to the meritocracy that we have here in the Republic. I implore the world and other states of the General Assembly to look at this as a lesson, that those nations who believe themselves to be water buffalo... or giants," She'd grin as reporters laughed. "are not so strong as they believe they are. Do not be intimidated by such countries who are immoral and who stand for malovalent causes. Rather, stand for what you think is right and what is just, always."

Jotting down notes in his tablet again, Representative Valdez starts with his counter arguments to the Vietnamese ponit of view when Argentina's resolution comes up to a vote.

For starters, the Vietnamese Representative did even know the actual number of members in the GA assembly. I think the quote was 130 or so, when the actual number was in the mid- 30's give or take the amount of depending on participation.

Just taken from that and that alone, anything anyone from the government of Vietnam states should be disregarded as complete and utter nonsense.

If you want to be a shot-caller at least know with whom you are dealing with.

What I find more disturbing than the situation in Kosovo, is that a nation completely unequipped to even count how many countries are represented in the chambers they have claimed so many times to hold so dear, has taken so much of this chambers time.

And everyone is still waiting for the Vietnamese Grand Plan, which the Brazilians have asked patiently for several times, but all we get is quotes from Hobbes, or Churchill or whomever.

No actionable plan. No logistics. Do not name countries involved. Do not even present a resolution stating even these most simplest of goals.

The former leadership of Vietnam made it a world power.

The current leadership has reduced Vietnam to its previous colonial status.

Just a whore to be exploited and slapped around and nothing else.

With that Juan Valdez saves his file, sends an encrypted email to to his superiors, then closes his laptop and texts his driver to meet him outside the GA building.
