At an undisclosed location in the Irish countryside, the commanders of the 1st, 3rd, and 6th battalions of infantry would meet up in the company of their fellow grunts.

The goal of the training event taking place was to facilitate a series of tactical ambushes designed to inflict casualties upon the enemy while utilizing the natural environment to their avantage in order to envade and deceive.

Two individual teams of 50 men would be assembled and debriefed of a small enemy patrol marching along a road near a glen while another team of 200 would act as 3 separate foot patrols.

The first team of 50 infantrymen would set up positions along a series of grassy hills and bushes on the right flank of the glen while the second team would take up position to the patrols rear.

The first patrol would appear, in a rather oblivious nature advancing up the road in a straight and order fashion. After a few minutes the patrol would disperse to look for any signs of the enemy finding nothing.

The two teams of 50 would relay communications with one another detailing the enemy's movements and would agree to conduct a road side ambush on an upcoming patrol. The two teams would puff some smoke and would lie in wait as the next patrol came marching.

Looking down the sights of his barrel, a machine gunner, who happened to be apart of a fire support team would open up on the middle of the patrol column scattering the enemy and eliminate 4 enemy combatants while snipers and riflemen would engage in laying down suppressing fire while a forward advance team came up from the rear to finish off the surprised remnants.

After the mission ended both teams came together to discuss the strengths and weaknesses during engagement. All in All the commanders seemed to be rather pleased with the results of the exercise and would end the training event.
