Greetings Your Excellency, I am writing you to suggest a new stance with regards to growing tensions within Kosovo between the Serbs and Ethnic Albanians. This stance advocates for the following:

1) the complete withdrawal of Serb forces from Kosovo

2) the establishment of a demilitarized zone under the guidance and protection of the global assembly

3) the implementation of responsible self government under a constitution designed to protect the rights and liberties of all in Kosovo while remaining an integral part of the Serb Republic as an autonomous state

I humbly request that this suggestion on my part and the party of my colleagues be brought to the attention of the global assembly and put into the hands of the CIS. It is my hope that this stance can alleviate tensions and buy time for both sides before war breaks out.

Minister Monahan, On behalf of the Government of the Argentine Republic, we wish to thank the Government of Eire for gettin involved in such a delicate matter and contribute to achieving a lasting peace by proposing ideas and potential paths. We concur with your point 1. and 2., while at the same time we would like to see some kind of consequence for Serbia for employing direct military force instead of pursuing diplomatic channels to reach a solution. Such consequence, could be in the form of financial contributions to a fund destined to reconstruct the kosovar infrastructure and improve living conditions. As for point 3., Argentina considers Kosovo part of the Serbian territory, but we also understand that due to cultural reasons Kosovo might require some kind of limited autonomous Government, with certain liberties, but still under the sovereign umbrella of Serbia. So, to wrap up, we understand that Ireland's position is compatible with Argentina's. Looking forward to continue working with your Government. Minister Oswaldo, I'm glad that me and my colleagues could be of service to you and the civilised world in times of mounting tension like these. It is my hope that the cooperation of non aligned entities can be an effective means of countering western military adventurism and Serb expansionism in favour of something more fulfilling and just.

Me and my colleagues are inclined to agree to you caveats regarding the purposed stance formulated by my country's government and quite frankly agree that these aspects would be a wonderful addition to a promising policy based on a concern for human rights and the rule of law. Now with regards to the third caveat, we do indeed agree that Kosovo is and ought to be an integral part of Serbia but only if autonomy is provided in a mannet that allows for powersharing between the two communities of said territory. Nevertheless, we are most pleased to have received that necessary feedback from like minded nations like Argentina and do indeed look forward to future discussions on this topic.
