Greetings, Mr. DeSilva my name is Gerald Monahan Ireland's foreign minister writting to request the aid and moral support of The Republic of Brazil in the fight against the occupation of the six counties in the northeastern part of Ireland.

In the past, The Irish people have voiced support sometimes at the expense of the great powers for the policies and actions of Brazil, now they ask you to return the favour in honour of a loyal friend.

We trust that you will find a way to persuade your government to lend a helping hand unto us though we do not wish to drag Brazil into a foreign war.

I believe Brazil has above above and beyond the call in helping Ireland defend itself. We just recently offered you a large arms package valued at almost 3 billion dollars, one that you never even replied. There was a lot of money left on the table. We still have no qualms about selling you military equipment, but you must give a definitive yes, immediately and send the funds immediately after as well.

We have been dancing around this subject for weeks, even that of a Brazilian Navy base. You never quite gave me a response.

Without the weapons or a Brazilian base to help assure your independence, you then declared war on the UK, with no offensive weaponry whatsoever or international support.

As recent history has shown, even a decision as stupid of that of France's to attack, Argentine, interest, they were able to keep their war going due to international support.

Have you procured any yourself?

This mission was doomed when two of your men offered to take a sitting Minister of Brazil to a pub to discuss politics rather than to the actual defense minister.

Minister Cosgrove, your nation no longer needs to rely on cloak and dagger missions discussed in a pub over a pint. it is time to develop a professional army along with trained and experienced diplomats. We can offere assistance, but you need to be willing to listen.
