On behalf of Èire and The Irish People, I'd like to begin the process of obtaining membership in the Confederation of Independent States with the intention of preserving Èire's sovereignty and neutral conduct while also furthering commercial and diplomatic ties that might be of some benefit to the Irish people and their economy.

To The Members of The Confederation of Independent States

My government has decided to maintain and if necessary reaffirm it's willingness to cooperate with the member states of the CIS, albeit as a non member ally acting in good faith and solidarity with all under it's wing. The Defense Forces of my country are currently discussing the possibility of allocating troops and resources to act as peacekeepers in the service of the CIS so as to offer an impartial stance on maintaining order when called upon.
